About this property

The Drey - Modern cottage for four in York Centre

The Drey is a lovely cosy terraced house situated within York City walls and perfectly located for all of the attractions of York.

Approximately a 10-15 minute walk from York Railway station and just a 5 minute walk from some amazing independent coffee shops and restaurants on Micklegate.

The house has been considerately decorated by the new owners to offer a modern home from home stay.

There is a spacious but cosy lounge with smart tv leading on to a modern kitchen and breakfast room,

To the first floor there are two double bedrooms and a family bathroom with shower over the bath.

To the rear there is a small garden space.

Why The Drey?

We have a little family of Squirrels who often come to visit us in the back yard (Cyril & Sybil), so we felt it only right to pay tribute to our bushy friends by calling the house The Drey.

Please note: We have a doorbell camera to the front door

Fabulous place!

Great place to stay. Location was close to all the sights. Fun interior with a well laid out floor plan. Place was very clean. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Charming accommodation in a peaceful but central location

A lovely place to escape to for a few days! Easy walking distance to everything but tucked in a peaceful corner away from the busy areas of the city. Well be back to explore more!
