Comfortable, ideally located apartment

We were two couples and two children and felt there was ample space for us all. The apartment is beautifully decorated and has everything you might need for your stay. Check in was incredibly easy and the location is perfect, we walked into York every day.

Great location - clean and well maintained

Firstly the stairs were not a problem and the lighting of this area was excellent. The communication with the company was always helpful. The apartment was very clean and had everything you could need for a stay. The proximity to the railway station was a bonus and the ease of walking into town. Definitely would recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at Great Gate House View this weekend. The location couldn't have been better!

We had a fantastic stay at Great Gate House View this weekend. The location couldn't have been better, with York's main attractions, shops, restaurants, and historic sights all within easy walking distance. The property itself was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. The bedrooms were generously sized, giving everyone plenty of room to relax, and the living area was excellent for socialising and spending time together as a group. It felt welcoming and homely while still offering plenty of space. Overall, it's the perfect place for a weekend in York, whether you're visiting with family or friends. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located base to explore the city.

Not luxurious - somewhat tired

A Birthday present for my partner, so was disappointed to arrive at a property described as luxurious, but definitely not. No hairdryer, light not working, no explanations as to how to use appliances including heating. Also a wall where a frame/picture had been previously been, instead the 4 adhesive stickers left on the wall. Lovely!
