This hideaway is a great place to recharge and relax. The newly renovated, in-town bungalow is located in the heart of Carmel-by-the-Sea. Walk to Ocean Ave (the main street) and explore the shops, restaurants, galleries the town has to offer. Picnic with friends and family on the white sand beaches, just 5 blocks away, and get ready to enjoy a spectacular sunset.

We welcome travel nurses and professionals and will do our best to make your extended stay as comfortable and productive as possible.

Finished with refreshing designer touches, this cozy cottage delivers a coastal feeling that is both charming and chic. Not only does it boast gleaming hardwood floors through out, but high ceilings, windows, and beautiful gardens add a sense of comfort.


Point Lobos state park is just down Highway 1 (with Big Sur about an hour further). Take the short trip to enjoy the world famous 17-Mile Drive, Laguna Seca Raceway, Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row.

The property was clean and, aside from the lack of a hot tub, matched its description. However, the original listing stated it had a hot tub, which was one of the reasons I booked it. After I arrived, the online description was changed, making it too late and too difficult to change locations—especially with nothing comparable available in the same price range. The property manager was abrupt, not particularly friendly, and a bit difficult to work with.For the missing hot tub, the only compensation offered was a 200 Target gift card or a Starbucks gift card—neither of which felt like a fair replacement, but better than the other “options,” which was nothing.Overall, I would still recommend staying here for the cleanliness and accuracy of the rest of the listing, but be aware that the handling of issues may not feel accommodating.

Continue to enjoy this studio in Carmel. The location is perfect - walkable to the beach and all the great Carmel shops and restaurants. I’ll be back!

Great getaway!

Stayed here for the month of Sept. Was working remotely while visiting family in the area. This cottage was perfect for my needs - great location, washer/dryer in the unit, clean. Management co was very responsive to any questions I had during my stay. Will stay here again when I'm back in the area.

Great location

What a great location to walk to the US Open @ Pebble Beach! Found a great breakfast stop just a few blocks away and so much shopping and dining in quaint Carmel-by-the-Sea that was all easily "walkable" if you don't mind so fairly steep hills! We enjoyed our stay at the Cozy Oak bungalow very much!

Perfect location

Great place for couples. Walking distance to everything in downtown Carmel - shops, restaurants and the beach.. so no need to deal with driving or parking! Nice and very clean. Well managed too. Super cozy! All you really need with a bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette.

Perfect place to stay!

Cozy Oak guest house is the perfect place to stay in Carmel. It is well located: 2 blocks off Ocean Avenue, the main street in this charming village, and 3-4 blocks from the beach. It’s clean, well-appointed, comfortable and has a private backyard for relaxing. We’d come back!

This is the guest house to the larger main house out front. The host was very responsive and accommodating. This is a small studio space and is great for a couple. Updated bathroom and was very clean throughout - highly recommend

Clean, modern, great location!

This place is small but mighty. It has all you need to make your stay in Carmel amazing. It's a very small place behind a house, which at first seems odd, but once my husband and I settled in, it didn't bother us at all. The bed is comfy and the space is open and airy. The kitchen has a microwave and baby fridge, but not a stove, oven, or dishwasher. Quite frankly you don't want to cook anyway- there's awesome food all around you!! It was an easy walk to many restaurants and bars. We did make coffee each morning in the drip coffee maker, but there's also delicious coffee very nearby. I was worried about the street parking, but it wasn't a problem. The street the cottage is on doesn't restrict parking at all, so we parked the car and didn't get back into it until we left for home. Finally, the beach is about 5 blocks down the hill from the cottage. Truly beautiful with views of Pebble Beach. Bring along the sunscreen and a light jacket, Carmel can be warm and sunny to cool and foggy quickly.

Wonderful quiet & private retreat in the heart of downtown Carmel

To celebrate our 15th anniversary at Carmel and it was an amazing experience. Our cottage is Modern, Stylish and close to Downtown. Furniture is fairly new. Comfortable bed. Kitchen is new and functional, best of all is the location. We stayed for 7 nights and had dinner in a different restaurant each night. We sure be back!
