"Villa Batavia" itself impresses with an open and inviting room concept. Three comfortable bedrooms and two stylish bathrooms are spread over a generous approx. 2,307 square feet of living space. A special highlight is the separate guest bathroom with direct access from the pool area – wonderfully uncomplicated!



The heart of the villa is the west-facing terrace with a breathtaking panoramic view. Here you can enjoy Florida's picturesque sunsets in the high-quality whirlpool or spend relaxing hours in the spacious, covered area. For active vacation days, fishing equipment, beach gear, and bicycles are at your disposal.



Another exclusive feature is the oversized boat dock with a charming tiki hut. Thanks to the direct Gulf access, boat enthusiasts can easily explore Florida's waterways. Please note that the boat lift is reserved for the owner and is not included in the rental agreement. However, rental boats can be conveniently docked at the existing boat dock.



Please note that the rental rate does not include electricity usage. This will be charged separately based on consumption at $0.17 per kWh. This charge is subject to applicable Florida taxes, and for payments made by credit card, a credit card processing fee of 3.6% will apply.

Great views from the large enclosed patio. The fenced side yard is perfect for pets to go out. The interior could use some more lighting and some updating but overall it was a great stay. Please note, the jacuzzi tub pictured does not have working jets if that's something that is important to you. The management group (Engels and Volkers), particularly Isabelle and Ina, were very easy to work with when we had any minor issue.

Christmas Getaway

We enjoyed renting this property. The house was clean and fully equipped. The weather was not super conducive, so my sons spent a lot of time in the hot tub and fishing off the dock. Beautiful view!

We had a great two weeks. The property management company was very helpful and responsive. The home was comfortable and the sunsets were beautiful. The home is nestled in a quiet neighborhood with a beautiful view of the water.

Excellent property!

My family and I enjoyed our stay here! It was clean and looked exactly like the pictures. I loved having morning coffee under the tiki. The pool area and outdoor patio were large and had a beautiful view of the canal. If we weren’t at the beach we were enjoying the pool, grill and lounge chairs. It has all the comforts of a home away from home. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and updated. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. It’s perfect for a family vacation. I can’t say enough about this property and the views. We will definitely be staying here again.

Not so good

The picture of the pool very deceiving. All furniture very uncomfortable. One person slept on couch and woke up covered with bug bites. Jacuzzi tub did not work. Loose tiles around pool caused my daughter-in-law to fall.Gas grill on site, but no propane. Energy cost payment not explained very well.

First of all thank you very much for taking the time to provide us with a review. We are however a little surprised by the two star rating especially since you told the team assistant during check-out that "everything was great". Not sure how pictures of the pool can be deceiving especially when there is also a virtual tour/video uploaded on VRBO? The jacuzzi function of the master bathroom tub was not working and unfortunately we were unable to fix this issue during your 7 night stay. The living room sectional is a leather material and if somebody woke up with bug bites this might be related to noseeums which are common in Florida especially during rainy season. We are very sorry you feel that electricity charges were not explained well even though these charges are clearly outlined in the VRBO ad and were also explained to you during the check-in meeting. The meter reading was recorded upon check-in and signed off by you as was the reading upon check-out. As for the propane tank: we do not refill the tanks which is clearly outlined on the welcome sheet and the next refill station is only 2 minutes from the house. We do encourage everybody to read all other reviews.

Wie ein zweites zu Hause - Erholung pur

Buchung, Check In, Kommunikation, Türcode - alles ging schnell, unkompliziert und reibungslos. Vor Ort fanden wir ein sehr schönes und sauberes Haus, alles hat genau den Angaben im Internet entsprochen. Wir hatten für uns genügend Platz und konnten uns ausreichend ausbreiten. Jeder von uns dreien hatte auch seinen Rückzugsort. Die Schlafzimmer waren toll Ausgestattet, die Betten waren sehr gemütlich und hatten gute Matratzen. Täglich haben wir unseren eigenen Pool genutzt und waren froh eine große überdachte Terrasse inkl. Screen zu haben. In der modernen Küche konnten wir uns Leckereien zubereiten. Alle notwendigen Kochutensilien waren vorhanden. Abends saßen wir am beleuchteten Steg in der Hollywoodschaukel und träumten bei kühlen Getränken in den Sonnenuntergang. Wir hatten einige Ausflüge gemacht, waren jedoch immer wieder in der Villa und haben dort viel Zeit verbracht. Für einen Familienurlaub genau das Richtige. Eine gesunde Mischung aus Erholung, Ruhe, Abenteuer und Ausflüge. Eine große und gut ausgestattete Garage, in der wir unseren SUV unterstellen konnten, rundete unser Gefühl von „zu Hause“ ab. Danke für diese schöne Zeit ! Wir freuen uns auf ein ein Wiedersehen. LG

The house, location, was perfect. Quiet neighborhood. House had everything we needed for a relaxing week. Pool and hot tub was awesome, my teenager enjoyed the tiki hut each evening, fished off the dock. Played games each night by the pool. Relaxing at Betivia on Cape Coral

The home was comfortable, the bed was good and we liked the walk in shower. We loved the back pool area which is very spacious. Our adult daughters and a son in law stayed a few nights and we spent all our time chatting out there. We Sat out there every morning to discuss our plans of the day and then watched the sunset in the evening with the turtles and flying fish. If we were around in the afternoon we took a dunk in the pool. We ate our breakfast and dinner put on the covered patio. Publix was close for groceries, we rented a boat at the dock at rum runners for a fun day on the beach at Sanibel. Easy drive to Ft Myers, Sanibel and Captival to enjoy the beaches and resturants. We loved going to Ford's Garage on the Cape for a relaxing fun evening and good food. We would have rented for 6 weeks next year, but House is already reserved. Our only issue was lack of light at the kitchen table making it hard to see food and better light would be nice in the living area. My husband likes to sit and read and hard a hard time seeing. There is a drip in the kitchen faucet and a rust spot in the sink that the rental company is aware of and working with the homeowners. Agency was great to work with and we would recommend them.

Beautiful property in a fantastic water front /canal location with Gulf access. We rented a boat for a few days and kept it at the hose so we could take an early morning boat ride while sun rose in peaceful splendor. Also went out to Sanibel by boat. Cape Coral experience

The house is beautiful and the amenities are great. It was fun to sit under the tiki hut on the water in the evening and watch fish jump straight out of the water. There was always something to see. The location of the house is close to everything, I.e. shopping, ice cream, food store, etc. Something to be aware of is that you are responsible to pay the electric bill. They read the electric meter the day you arrive and the day you leave. We had a wonderful time and would definitely rent here again.

Great stay. House was as described. Lovely to sit on the lanai or under the tiki hut to watch the water. Loved the flying fish and we had some great sunsets. Pool and hot tub were great too! Would stay here again.
