Want to book a lovely vacation near North Sea beach and dunes?
Book the Sandcastle. A nice, spacious vacation home with lots of privacy in a villa park in Noordwijk on the coast.
It's a quiet, nicely situated green luxe park. Dunes and beach close by.

House: upstairs 3 bedrooms (1 bedroom with double bed and a new smart tv (Google, Netflix, Youtube), 2 bed rooms with each 2 x 1-person beds.
Guests bring their own linens and towels. There are duvets (dekbed) and pillows on each bed, but make sure to bring covers. The measurements of the double bed duvet:
the mattress is 200 x 160 cm (for you under-sheet) and the duvet is: 240 x 220 cm, so a lits-jumaux size. The 1-person beds are standard size.

Nice living room with big dining table, one big couch and two comfortable lazy chairs, big flatscreen tv, stereo, and nice new open kitchen with dish washer, combi-oven, water cooker, Senseo and regular coffee maker, etc. Downstairs is also a modern bathroom with a big walk-in shower with a rain-shower head, toilet and sink.
The house is freestanding with a big yard with lots of privacy, 2 terraces for your outdoors fun. There is a big wooden picnic table set and some plastic garden furniture.

Surroundings: the park is between Noordwijk and Noordwijkerhout in a green area in the middle of the flower fields. So April and May are lovely, everything is blossoming. The park (Witte Raaf) is also on the edge of the dunes. You walk to the beach on a beautiful path (1 km). A great place for biking and walking.
Noordwijk is a lively coastal place with all year long activities, many restaurants and shops (also open on Sunday). Less than 10 min. drive.
Noordwijkerhout is a cozy village met lots of shops and supermarkets. Few min. drive.
Nice old cities are: Haarlem (20 min), Leiden (15 min), Amsterdam (40 min), Den Haag (30 min).
Why this house? Because guests are always enthusiastic.
It's a lovely place for the whole family.

Excellent property near tulips, beach and beauty.

We had three full days in this beautiful property which is an easy drive to Delft, Keukenhof and the beach. We appreciated the peaceful location and well equipped and clean house and the information provided by the host was excellent.

Graduation Trip

Great location, close to the sea, with restaurants and plenty of trails to walk and bike. The house had everything we needed and was perfect for our family of four and plus our dutch friend who joined us. We really enjoyed ending the day with a glass of wine in the lovely backyard.

Cozy house in great location

The house is very nice and has everything you need. The interior and furniture is very comfortable and very well designed. It's only 30 minutes by foot to the beach and you can easily rent a bike close to the house. There is a lot of information available on what to do, as the host has a collection of flyers, maps and more in the house. The communication was always nice and small issues were easily solved. We had a great time and will recommend this spot to others!

Very nice residence

We really loved our stay at Carlas residence. It was very clean and you can find everything you need.Carla as the host was always available and very very nice and friendly.The spot and the beach in Noordvijkerhoud was very beautiful with its near forest and the duins. All over it was way more relaxed than in Noordvijk and it is perfect to take your dogs to the beach. The only thing that was missing was like a small bakery or a small supermarket in or next to the Parc de Witte Raaf, whitin walking distance, so that you do not always need the car or the bike, but the neighborhood was very quiet and nice.We really recommend this summer residence!

Great stay overall

Our stay at the House was great overall, it was clean, very well equipped, had a great garden and the location was also very conveniant. Communication with the Host Carla was also very good and efficient! All information were sent beforehand and made the start of the vacation easy. Heating was also very good and quick and the only small drawback was the mattress in the double bed, which was very hard. But we can recommend the House and Carla and would come again!

Tolle Lage, ruhige Umgebung. Mit dem Fahrrad war alles gut zu erreichen. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und ein paar Gesellschaftsspiele gibt es auch. Die Kommunikation mit Carla war super, freundlich und sehr unkompliziert. Für unseren Geschmack hätte es etwas sauberer sein können. Aber auch hier konnte Carla auf unser Anliegen eingehen

Thank you for your kind words. I'm sorry you did not think the cleaning was 100% at first. I was happy you told me right away you were not entirely happy with the downstairs floors on arrival, so we could fix this and send our cleaning lady back the next day. The cleaning lady was very sorry, did not mind doing it again. She told me she will try extra hard on those floors from now on, maybe use a stronger cleaning fluid for ceramic tiles. Glad you still had a good vacation!

Das Haus war in Ordnung und alles war vorhanden. Es war alles sehr schön.Die Lage ist superNicht klar war bei der Buchung, dass man Bettwäsche und Handtücher mitbringen muss. Bei 4 Personen ist das eine Menge Gepäck und echt lästig. Wenn wir das bei der Buchung gewusst hätten, hätten wir ein anderes Haus gebucht

Hi Werner, I'm sorry to hear you were not aware of the linens. I always contact my guests right away after they book, and give them extended information on the house. I also explain that our cleaning service unfortunately can not offer linens. We wish they would, but it is hard to find a good cleaning service. We have found one, but linens service is not possible for them. If you would have expressed this right away, I would of course have let you cancel your booking without costs. I learn from this that I have to be even more clear about this. Thanks for your feedback. I hope you still had a wonderful stay.

Sehr schönes und ruhig gelegenes Ferienhaus. Check-in war super easy, gleiches beim Check-out. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man für einen schönen Urlaub benötigt, auch wenn das Mobiliar schon etwas abgewohnt ist. Schönes kleines Häuschen mit einem kleinen schönen Garten. Durch den nahegelegenen Wald und den Dünen kam man zum schönen Strand. An dem man auch ab Oktober den Hund freilaufen lassen konnte. Auch für Städtetrips ist das auch gut gelegen.

Hi Klaus, I'm sorry you felt this way. We like feedback and always try to improve! But the bathroom is only a few years old, and in our eyes still very nice. The furniture is also renewed downstairs, and for the beds; all mattresses are quite new and of a nice Emma quality. We like to improve, because we want to offer our guests a nice experience. If there were problems with the shower drain, we wish you would have told us during your stay, because we would have addressed it immediately. We will check the drain for sure.
