Beautiful house, great location.

We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Conveniently close to the bigger cities but located in a charming small town on the river Rijn. Kitchen was stocked with the basic "necessities" and grocery store within walking distance. Parking close by. Our host Dirk instantly responded to any inquiries.

Perfect stay in a perfect location

Dirk and Suzan couldn't have been more accommodating. Dirk kindly picked us up from Alphen aan de Rijn bus station when he knew we were travelling by public transport which is more than we expected when we asked for directions from Amsterdam. He also gave us a ride back to the station at the end of our stay. The old Miller's house is a fantastic place, so peaceful and a great location for those, who like us, want to do everything by public transport. You can get to either Leiden or Alphen aan de Rijn which gives you great access to other bus routes or trains. We got to have a tour of the mill which we found very interesting. We recommend the old Miller's house and we will definitely return again.

Das Haus war eine tolle Unterkunft. Es liegt perfekt, sodass wir viele Städte besuchen konnten. Auch die Aussicht auf das Wasser und die Mühle waren großartig. Vielen Dank an Dirk für die sehr interessante und lehrreiche Führung durch die Mühle.

Sehr schönes, toll restauriertes Ferienhaus. Es ist ein ehemaliges Müllerhaus mit direktem Blick vom Frühstückstisch auf die 300 Jahre alte Mühle. Suzan und Dirk haben uns herzlich empfangen und waren sehr hilfsbereit. Wir hatten eine private Führung durch die Mühle mit vielen interessanten Erklärungen bekommen. Da es windig genug war, konnte Dirk die Mühle in sogar Betrieb nehmen. Wir waren vom Engagement und Herzblut der beiden beeindruckt.Für Ausflüge stehen einfache Fahrräder bereit mit denen man über gut ausgeschilderte Strecken durch die Natur fahren kann. Es war sehr schön, an den vielen Gärtnereien und Pflanzenplatagen vorbei zu fahren.In der näheren direkten Umgebung gibt es Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants.Wir haben eine tolle Woche dort gehabt, danke noch einmal an Suzan und Dirk.

Wunderschön restauriertes Haus mit Geschichte! Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Ferienhaus ist sauber und sehr gut eingerichtet. Am meisten hat uns das Engagement beeindruckt, mit dem die Gastgeber das Haus und die dazugehörige Windmühle pflegen. Zum Aufenthalt gehört auch eine private Führung durch die Windmühle mit vielen spannenden Informationen. Herzlichen Dank für diesen einmaligen Urlaub!

Super nette Gastgeber jederzeit zu erreichen, immer zu Auskünften, Infos und Hilfe bereit und wir hatten eine super tolle Mühlenführung. Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön direkt am Kanal und an einer über 300 Jahre alten Mühle gelegen, super sauber und sehr zentral. Es gab Fahrräder, mit denen man die Umgebung erkunden konnte und auch größere Städte waren mit dem Auto oder den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln leicht zu erreichen. Es gab einen großen Garten mit Trampolin und Schaukel für die Kinder und einem Boot, mit dem man den Kanal erkunden kann, eine tolle Ferienunterkunft mit sehr liebevollen und netten Gastgebern jederzeit zu empfehlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Es hat alles sehr gut geklappt. Angefangen von der Kommuniktion mit Suzan und Dirk nach der Buchung über die Zusendung der Kontaktdaten und der Anreiseinformation kurz vor dem Urlau bis zum Empfang durch Suzan und Dirk. Uns wurde das gesamte Ferienhaus gezeigt. Es fehlte an der Ausstattung wirklich nichts. Die Lage ist optimal, zentral gelegen für viele Radtouren in der Umgebung. Die vorbeifahrenden Regionalzüge haben nicht wirklich gestört. Dirk hat uns auch noch eine Privatführung der Mühle gegeben, wirklich beeindruckend. Wir hatten in dem Ferienhaus unsere Ruhe und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, so dass wir jederzeit gerne wieder kommen würden.

Würden wir immer wieder Buchen!!

Wundersches sehr sauberes Ferienhaus. Ideal um die Stätte Amsterdam bis Rotterdam und die Nordsee zu besuchen. Besondere Charme hat die alte Mühle direkt am Grundstück. Bettwäsche,Handtücher,alles Inclusive, sehr guter Service. Sehr nette Vermieter❤

Schönes Haus in schöner Lage

Wir sind rundum begeistert. Das Haus ist schön gelegen an der Gracht und der alten Mühle, durch die man eine super Führung bekommt. Es gab auch Fahrräder und ein Ruderboot. Zu den umliegenden Städten ist es nur ein Katzensprung. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Tausend Dank und wir kommen gerne wieder!

Romantische Lage

Das Ferienhaus liegt sehr romantisch am Wasser und einer tollen Windmühle. Der vorbeifahrende Zug ist allerdings in der Nacht schon sehr störend. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und wir hatten eine klasse Mühlenführung vom Vermieter.

Amazing stay

This property is an amazing find, we could not believe it when we arrived. Dirk and Suzan have been amazing hosts. They have prepared a very detailed listing including where to find plugs to light fixtures. My kids enjoyed the bike around town, and we also used the paddle boat to get around the water right in the back side of the house. We have diet restrictions, so cooked at the place some nights, there is a grocery store within walking distance. The house is properly stocked with cooking utensils. The big added plus was the windmill tour which my son said was the most memorable of our trip. My family has been touring around different parts of Europe and has stayed in many different properties, Dirk's house has by far been the best place. If opportunity permits, we will definitely like to visit again.

Magnifique vacances !

Difficile de tout résumer tellement il y a d'aspects positifs... Avant tout, la qualité de l'accueil de Dirk et Suzann !!! Disponibles, accueillants, aidants même quand on a une panne de voiture :) ... Concernant la location, elle est très bien placée pour aller au bord de mer, Amsterdam, Gouda, Leiden, .... Tous les commerces sont accessibles à pied ou en vélo. Les vélos mis à disposition nous ont permis de faire de belles balades, sur les pistes cyclables et trajets sécurisés. La Maison est très propre et fonctionnelle, avec le bonus d'une terrasse très agréable avec canards, poules d'eau comme visiteurs sympathiques... Et le moulin est génial (merci à Dirk pour la visite guidée très intéressante, et en Français !). Donc n'hésitez pas à y aller... Pour nous, c'était une super location, pour découvrir un peu (en 11 jours) les Pays-Bas. Merci encore à Dirk et Suzann !! Marie, Loïc, Arthur et Marius

Erholung pur im Herzen Hollands

Wir haben unseren Urlaub in dem schönen Ferienhaus genossen. Die romantische Lage direkt neben der Mühle sowie die Terrasse an der Gracht war wunderbar. Die Vermieter waren äußerst freundlich und jederzeit erreichbar. Ganz lieb fanden wir die Führung in der fast 300 Jahre alten Mühle. Nochmals herzlichen Dank an Suzan und Dirk für die schönen Tage in Ihrem Ferienhaus.

Traumhaftes Müllershaus

Wir haben zwei wunderbare Wochen in dem tollen Müllershaus verbracht. Alles war sehr sauber und absolut empfehlenswert. Alleine der Blick vom Frühstückstisch auf die Mühle im Garten ist traumhaft. Dazu die sehr netten Vermieter, einfach perfekt.

Wunderbares Feriendomizil

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit an diesem wunderschönen Ort in dem herrlichen Mühlenhaus direkt neben der imposanten Wassermühle. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt, die Ferienwohnung ist hervorragend ausgestattet. Suzan und Dirk sind sehr aufmerksame und freundliche Gastgeber. Die Lage ist optimal, um Ausflüge mit dem Fahrrad oder dem Auto zu machen. Im Ort findet man alle Läden des täglichen Bedarfs. Die Zugverbindung gegenüber dem Haus schien uns in unserer Ferienwoche etwas höher Frequentiert, hat uns aber wenig gestört. Absolutes Highlight für uns war die Mühlenführung von Dirk. Vielen Dank an Suzan und Dirk für diese tolle Ferienwoche.

Wundervolle Unterkunft in zentraler Lage

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in dem Häuschen an der Mühle. In der Wohnung ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Sogar Fahrräder stehen für Ausflüge zur Verfügung. Die Vermieter sind super nett und das Haus inklusive des Gartens werden mit viel Liebe gepflegt. Ein Highlight ist sicher die private Mühlen Führung. Waren schon zum 2 Mal da und bestimmt nicht zum letzten Mal. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Der Urlaub beginnt mit der Unterkunft

Diese Ferienwohnung liegt sehr idyllisch neben der alten Windmühle und direkt an einer wunderschönen Gracht. Die Wohnung ist sehr liebevoll und mit Bedacht eingerichtet. So findet man zum Beispiel in der Küche alles, was man braucht. Die günstige Aufteilung mit vier Schlafräumen ist für Familien mit Kindern ideal. Dazu kommen ein wunderbar angelegter Garten und eine sonnige Terrasse, wo man sich gerne aufhält, wenn man nicht unterwegs ist. Vom Quartier aus kann man zahlreiche Ausflüge an die nahegelegene Küste und in die Region machen. Sehr empfehlenswert.
