Villa Clarissa is beautiful in a perfect location right on Lake Como. Waking up to views of mountains and lake were amazing. Ariana was wonderful. She answered all our questions and also set us up with a chef in the home one evening. Highly recommend Villa Clarissa.

Lovely lakeside villa very well maintained

A wonderful stay, would recommend The great bits: Stunning views, right on the lake. Although it backs onto the main road, traffic noise is minimal. Great garden, terraces and BBQ area meant lots of options for outside activities and al fresco dining. Very modern and well maintained inside. The self contained apartment on the top floor with its own kitchen was perfect for our teenagers! Good location, nearby local mini-market, boat and canoe hire, a small bar and super restaurant all walkable. Although the access to the lake wasn't quite described (see below) the villa management team could not be more helpful and available - even when a fuse blew at 10pm! Things to know: Not easy to access the lake, has a small beach with slippery rocks and no boat jetty or ladder. It is manageable for adults / teens but would be more challenging with small children. The advert highlights a boat dock, we usually hire our own speedboat for Como. However, there is no jetty and the boat dock holds the owner's own boat. To their credit, when we mentioned this, the villa manager said the boat owner was willing to move his boat (by which time we made other plans). If you plan to have a boat, you would want to arrange this in advance. We all had a great stay and we would go back in the future. Do note that the local restaurants all book up well in advance so you should book before you go!
