Welcome pack.. Small rear patio area with seating. Public car park permit (free of charge), 700 yards away. Additional parking scratchcards available on request. No smoking. This beautiful cottage was built in 2016 on the site of a former woodworker’s workshop, with Cobble Cottage being the largest in the row of three, located in the middle and is accessed via seven steps to an elevated boardwalk to the first floor.

With over 1,000 square feet of accommodation over two floors the cottage is much larger than it appears from the outside, with the main living area being upstairs and most of the bedrooms being downstairs. A spacious entrance hall leads to an open-plan living/dining room with two sofas, arranged around a feature fireplace and a dining table. To the rear of the room is a well-equipped kitchen with sleek high-gloss cabinets and integrated appliances. Also upstairs is a bedroom with twin beds with its own en-suite.

Downstairs there are two king bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room and French doors leading onto the small private yard to the rear of the cottage. The fourth bedroom has a single bed with a further pull-out bed (please request when booking). There is a family bathroom across the hall.

You have the added benefit of a parking permit for the West Cliff car park for one vehicle around a 5-minute walk away. Ideal for any guests looking to stay in the heart of Whitby, you are only steps away from the many cafés, shops and bars which delight the visitors in this beautiful town. Whitby is one of Yorkshire’s most picturesque coastal fishing towns, with a bustling harbour, narrow cobbled streets, and a historic abbey.

This atmospheric place has plenty to offer visitors, whether you choose to experience the traditional seaside charm, or something slightly less conventional like the annual Goth Festival. Along the coastline you also have the scenic villages of Robin Hoods Bay, Staithes and Runswick Bay to explore, as well as the historic seaside towns of Saltburn, Scarborough and Bridlington. You are also surrounded by the North York Moors National Park, with ancient forests, rolling heather clad hills and valleys scattered with hiking trails, as well as quaint villages and some wonderful traditional pubs and local cafés to visit.

Beautiful cottage in a superb location

A clean and very well provisioned cottage, located centrally in Whitby. Literally seconds away from shops, pubs and restaurants. Highly recommended.
