This is a fabulous property and very well equipped for large family groups. It is very close to all Whitby’s amenities. We hired the hot tub which was great. Would definitely recommend the rental. 5 en-suite bedrooms and one with shower room next door. We all enjoyed staying here.

Beautiful house well equipped with everything we needed. There was plenty of room for us as a family of 8 adults and 4 children, we never felt on top of each other. Location is excellent just a short walk to all local attractions. Nice gesture of 2 bottles of Prosecco, biscuits, coffee, tea and sugar left in kitchen as welcome.

The house was immaculate, with everything you could possibly need. The house is in walking distance to the centre of Whitby and the beach.Plenty of room on the driveway, we had to large and two small cars. Would recommend and definitely return

Everything about the property was brilliant clean and beautifully designed it was easy to communicate with the host and he was very helpful plenty of parking the Kitchen was fantastic we spent most of our time in there and the living rooms and the bedrooms were excellent the best house we’ve all stayed at

A fantastic comfortable big house with lots of space for our party of 12 to spread out but equally the big table in the kitchen area was brilliant for family games evenings after dinner. The garden was lovely too and we made use of the BBQ. Perfect place to get into town, the beach and handy for the Whitby tour bus for a visit for the Abby. We have had a fantastic big family holiday so thank you to Jude the owner she was very easy to contact to ask questions, we all had a really good time.

Great place for a large group of with bathrooms for all and plenty of space in the bedrooms. Downstairs there is ample room in both of the lounges for 10 and the kitchen dining room area is more than sufficient for every to gather around the table whilst the cooking is being done. Overall a great stay and so close to the centre of Whitby without being in the midst of all the tourists. A great time had byalll

Parking was great Kitchen wasn’t as clean as expected Host was good to get in touch with Beds were fresh and clean as was the bathrooms but the rest of the bedroom and sitting room and the hall need a deep clean spiders web in all of the bedrooms dust on cupboards Sofas were in need of a good clean we lost a toy down the back of one of the sofas and the debris that came up with the toy was not good loads of dust and rubbish under the sofas

Thank you for your review although 8/10 is very disappointing in relation to all the other reviews the property receives. However, I am very sorry that you found fault with the cleaning as these things really matter to us. It has been a very busy summer season and I had to get substitute cleaners for a couple of weeks as my regulars were away but was not aware this had affected standards. Spiders webs reappear very quickly as everyone knows and changeover time restraints mean we can’t usually get behind furniture etc. However the kitchen should have been spotless so I do apologise that it was not and have passed that on to the cleaners. We do a deep clean when bookings allow after the summer rush and again before Easter which will include the tops of wardrobes and behind furniture etc I again apologise for any short comings you spotted but am confident this did not affect the great week you told me you all enjoyed at Seamoor House. We had a fabulous stay! Excellent direct communication with our host who had arranged for the house to be beautifully decorated for our Christmas stay. All rooms were of a good size and nicely furnished and kitchen well stocked. It's location is perfect for both the short walk into Whitby and the seafront. We hope to visit again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay there.

Good parking for three cars. Excellent amount of crockery, glasses and cutlery. Comfortable beds. Very convenient for the beach and the town. Bus service right outside. We hardly used our cars.
