Perfectly clean, fresh and bright with the most interesting garden, Flint Cottage is a little gem.
We loved our stay at Flint Cottage. Perfectly clean, fresh and bright, with wonderful views and a delightful garden, this cottage doesn't disappoint. Comfortable beds, and sofas, immaculate bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen, plus lots of little thoughtful touches and all the comforts of home which made our holiday more relaxing.

Family get together in Norfolk
Stiffkey is an ideal location to explore the North Norfolk coast though preferably outside summer school holidays as the road gets very congested.
Flint cottage is a great location as offers 2 parking spaces, easy walk to the store, pub and onto the marshes. The cottage easily accommodates 4 adults with the garden going down to the River Stiffkey where you can sit and watch the wildlife with kingfishers on the river and hares and barn owls in the fields opposite

Short stay in Stiffkey
Cottage is beautifully decorated, very comfortable and clean. It is well equipped with all that you need, the beds are comfy and the white bedding lovely.
The garden is glorious, it keeps going down to the river with special places to sit.
The area is really good for visiting numerous sites locally, a pub with great food and friendly staff in walking distance and a convenient little shop next door.
We had a wonderful few days, thank you.

Excellent in every way
The cottage exceeded our expectation, totally home from home, everything we needed plus some. The cottage was spotless, warm and comfortable. Bed was so comfy, I wanted to take it home. Garden is lovely, be great in warmer weather. Little shop next door is so handy and does great breakfast pastry. All in all one of the best weeks we've had, would love to go back .
Beautiful cottage and surroundings close to Norfolk's best natural attractions
We loved our stay at Flint cottage. The house was very spacious but also cosy and we enjoyed spending time in the garden by the river. Watching rabbits and birds of prey from the windows was a highlight as well as the opportunity for a number of local walks from the cottage. Holkam was just 10 minutes away which was very convenient. It was also great to be located next to the beautiful Stifkey Stores who sold excellent coffee and produce.
Would definitely come back

3 generation stay
A wonderful cottage and for 3 generations to stay. The location was perfect with Stiffkey stores selling patisseries 7 days a week and the pub down the road. The garden with the river at the end was beautiful, we regularly saw dunks and swans. The kids (aged 3 and 7) loved the play house and playing in this safe space.
Inside the cottage was very comfortable and clean. We would definitely come back!

Enjoyable stay at Flint Cottage
We very much enjoyed our stay at Flint Cottage . It is comfortable and cosy. Although the weather was too warm to use it, the wood burner would make it especially cosy in the autumn/winter. The garden is gorgeous and we particularly enjoyed having an early morning cuppa overlooking the river at the bottom of the garden and taking in all the wildlife there. One very small suggestion would be that a smart TV for those evenings that you decide to stay in would be an advantage. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Nice stay however terrible hosts
The cottage is amazing and our autistic son loved the place however the owners are far too involved when it comes to heating even though the price for a week is extortionate! We stayed here 3 times playing good money all together and my partner suffers from a medical condition making her feel more cold. The owners weren’t happy the hearing controls were adjusted so I’d stay far away especially with the prices you have to pay.

Excellent cottage for family holiday
We visited with daughter and grandson and found the cottage excellent in all respects. The accommodation is welcoming, warm (mid-Feb) and suited us well, with enough space for privacy (3 toilets in total - undersold in description!) and great cooking facilities. Garden is beautiful - would be wonderful in summer - and lovely views (husband saw rare bird from bedroom window).
Location is also excellent - just a few minutes’ drive from Cley, a pleasant morning’s walk to Wells along coastal path, bus stops just outside, and coffee shop/general stores next door is a fantastic asset.
We will definitely want to return.
