Ideal for couples looking to enjoy a getaway to the fabulous Derbyshire Peak District. A perfect option for those who love to spend time in the outdoors so get your walking boots on and strike out from the doorstep. Exuding character in every room, you’ll also find all the creature comforts one expects from a beautiful property like this. The open plan living space has plenty of room. In the living area there is a multi-fuel burner which makes it the perfect place to curl up in front of with a book. Sitting alongside is the kitchen area which is fully stocked with everything you need to cook and dine during your stay. Upstairs is a large double room and bathroom perfect for two. Outside of the cottage there is a courtyard with a seating area so you can make the most of this lovely location and views and eat al fresco when the weather is nice.

The charming and traditional conservation village of Bonsall is situated in the heart of the Derbyshire Dales, on the edge of the Peak District National Park, the former lead mining and textile producing village is renowned for the World Hen Racing Championship’s held on the first Saturday in August at the Barley Mow pub. Sitting close to Matlock and Matlock Bath, you will find this is the base for the cable car leading to the Heights of Abraham, a sixty-acre hilltop country park. Walkers and mountain bikers will delight in the magnificent trails that abound in this part of the Peaks This part of Derbyshire has a rich heritage, with nearby Cromford being home to the Arkwright Mills and Crich, playing host to a Tramway Village.
