Good- clean and functional. Everything worked as it should. It is close to the shops two pubs and a nice cafe-Pea and Greens(-great coffee and full English/veggie breakfast. All the people we met were friendly and you could see everyone took pride in keeping it looking nice.A short walk to the beach and a steep climb over to Lyme Regis via the golf course.Negatives (only minor) The double bed is a bit small for me as I’m 6’.The garden area doesn’t get much sun as it’s surrounded by the neighbours houses and walls. Parking is in short supply but only a 2 minute walk most of the time. No handrail on stairs.

December holiday

As my husband was the one who booked the cottage, the property manager would not communicate with me directly which was difficult because I arrived at the cottage a few days before my husband. When I did arrive at the cottage the heating was set at 14C and took some time to heat up. Having said that, the cottage was spacious, clean and comfortable and had everything there that we needed. The location was great for the village and the beach. It was easy to manage the temperature control and all in all we enjoyed our stay there, and we hope to return.Make sure you duck when going between kitchen and hallway. There is a low arch. Street parking is not always close.
