Sleeping up to 16 guests across seven bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom, the house balances privacy with generous communal spaces that make larger family stays feel relaxed rather than crowded.

Most afternoons drift between the terrace, fireplace lounge, and slower walks through the rolling Limburg countryside while evenings usually settle around shared dinners and films projected in the cosy library room. The atmosphere feels warm and lived-in rather than formal, especially with exposed countryside views and enough space for everyone to spread out comfortably throughout the stay. Two pets are also welcome, making longer family holidays far easier to plan.

Restaurants and cafés can be reached within roughly 500 metres, while Valkenburg lies around 10 minutes away for limestone cave tours, castle ruins, and the famous Gemeentegrot underground passages. The Velvet Cave and Valkenburg Castle are especially worth visiting early in the day before the tour groups arrive. Wilhelminatoren and the Valkenburg toboggan run can be reached within approximately 13 minutes, while GaiaZOO sits around 20 minutes away for families travelling with children. Maastricht is also within easy driving distance for canal-side cafés, shopping streets, and long lunches around Vrijthof Square.
