Wonderful property - secluded and serene.
Great access and views of the lake. Peaceful with no crowds to worry about as you enjoy the lake, the sunset, or the stars. Clean and roomy house. Easily accomodated 5-6 people with no problem. Would definitely stay there again.
My group of longtime friends have gone to the lakehouse the last three years in a row fishing. Thechousecis great and exactly as advertised. Fishing is amazing. If you want some peace and quiet and great fishing this is the place you are looking for.
I loved this property. The accomodations were perfect for our group, the view of the lake from the deck was spectacular and the fishing was the best I've had from any house I rented. I caught largemouth bass up to 22 inches and 7 pounds as well as many pickerel and other species from the rowboat on the property. I can't wait to go back.
This was the perfect place for our family vacation! The house/lake/view were beautiful. We all had so much fun playing down by the water, kayaking and fishing. Loved watching the Bald Eagle fly from tree to tree. We finally got a beautiful picture of him in flight the morning we were leaving. Thank you so much for opening your rental to us. Would definitely stay here again!
We were in the area for our grandson's Cooperstown Dreams Park baseball experience. We had a great time at the ball field but at the end of each day, we were all excited to head back to the "lake house". We spent most of our downtime fishing (catch and release!) and relaxing by the lake, enjoying the beautiful scenery. Our only regret is that we don't live closer (we're from FL) so we could visit when we didn't have other plans to fill our days and could just hang out at the lake all day.
We (6 of us all adults) were visiting some friends that moved up in the area. It was really close to location 8 miles but was about a 20 to 25 minute ride. LOL due to the fact that it's not a straight run. There's a lot of twists, turns, and hills... Very beautiful scenery. The property and house was very clean. Beds were comfy no complaints. We cooked a lot and had everything we needed at our disposal which was very convenient. Very tranquil... It is was a great weekend. Perfect for what we needed and I absolutely plan on staying again. Loved it very much would love to go up there with family that I know would also enjoy the area.❤️
The star of the show is the lakefront location. Add in fall foliage and our only regret was that it was far too cold to use the lake-view deck. We cooked meals in and found everything we needed. 5 adults fit comfortably and the place could have slept more if there were couples (i.e. 2 per room vs 1 per room in 3 of the 4 bedrooms).
We recently stayed at the lake house with our family, including three children, and loved it. The location of the beaten path and was perfect getaway. The kids loved playing n the lake and kayaking. We had everything we needed for a great stay. We hope to come back soon.
We loved our stay! We absolutely loved the lake my husband and two boys caught many fish and enjoyed using the little boat to go out into the lake. However we were in town for our son to play baseball in Cooperstown and the drive we 45 minutes to and from.
We enjoyed our stay here, it was very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed watching bald eagles and great blue heron fly around the lake. There was quite a bit of seaweed in the beach area but once we spent some time clearing it out, the water was beautiful and refreshing. One warning, the path/road that leads to the house was a little treacherous with dips and divots from recent rain. If you drive a low sitting car, you’ll want to be very careful so you don’t bottom out. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay, and the host Maria was very helpful and answered my hundreds of questions very promptly.
This property was the perfect escape for a relaxing vacation. The house was kept very nicely and there was plenty of room for all of us. It’s location on the lake was phenomenal, as were the views. Whether you like to just sit and enjoy the beauty of this country setting or get out and enjoy it by swimming, boating or fishing, it is absolutely perfect. This peaceful spot is a great jumping off point for day trips to local caverns or the Baseball Hall of Fame too. We’ll definitely be coming back!
Had a great stay, plenty of room in the house. Cozy and clean. Amazing fishing using the provided kayaks and row boats (2 each !). Caught smallmouth, largemouth, bluegill, pike, catfish! Great birdwatching also. Nice secluded house in the woods on a super quiet tranquil lake! Highly recommend for a family getaway !
Property was exactly as described. Quiet, beautiful, perfect for an active family that wants to unwind and enjoy the beauty of upstate without being completely off the grid. Day trips to crowded tourist locations are easily doable.
Great place if you want to get away from Cooperstown!
Wonderful place, fishing was great and the peace and quiet was so relaxing. Never needed to reach out to the owner as everything was as advertised! Would give it 10 stars if I could :)
Renting the house was hassle free. Communication with the owners was top notch.
Would definately rent again.

Beautiful, Secluded Lakehouse
I just got back from my 5th year visiting the Lakehouse on Titus Lake. The property is absolutely gorgeous, (as well as huge!) and really gives you the feeling of "getting away from it all". The foliage in October is fabulous, and there's so much wildlife to see that we never experience in the suburbs - a bald eagle, a snake, even a porcupine! There are kayaks and rowboats to take out on the lake for fishing, and a great fire pit right next to the lake. The owners live close enough that they're able to address any problems ASAP if they were to arise, but also will completely leave you alone 100%

What makes this property unique
The closeness to the lake. A beautiful area that is quiet and remote. Away from it all. Great for family and generations of family trips.
