This gorgeous lodge has a large patio area complete with bubbling hot tub and outdoor seating for six. Nestled in an enviable lake side location, Roadford Lake Lodges are the perfect place enjoy the tranquillity of the countryside with wildflower meadows, open fields and woodland area all right on your doorstep.

Rose Lodge is a spacious two-bedroom retreat with high vaulted ceilings and a welcoming open plan living, dining and kitchen area perfect for spending previous time with your loved ones. The French doors onto the patio help bring the outside in and are great for enjoying the fresh countryside air wherever you want to relax and unwind.

With two light-filled bedrooms and two bathrooms you have all the space you need for a rest filled holiday. Rose Lodge is pet friendly too meaning your four-legged friend can and join in the memory making in a wonderful location.

Roadford Lake Lodges is a resort that caters for couples and families looking for a relaxing holiday in the Devon lakeside setting. It’s also perfect for gatherings making the most of the on lake activities that are available on Roadford Lake. It’s not suitable for party groups. If your booking falls outside either of these groups, please get in touch before making your booking to discuss your requirements.

Pets: 2 Pets allowed. Please advise the Luxury Coastal team directly if you would like us to host your pet after completing your booking. A charge of £25 per pet per stay/week will be applicable and required before your stay. We will arrange and invoice with you directly upon booking confirmation.

*Please note that although marketed as a two-bedroom lodge, Rose Lodge does have a third bedroom which is locked by default. Please reach out to Luxury Coastal for more information if you would like to discuss booking Rose Lodge's third bedroom for an additional charge. 

Commercial vehicles are not allowed on site at Roadford Lake Lodges.

Beautiful lodge, peaceful, cosy and clean

We had a great stay at rose lodge, very spacious inside and in a stunning location. Inside it was very clean and cosy perfect for what we wanted. A great destination for long walks and a calm get away.

Lovely relaxing short brewk

We enjoyed our stay in rose lodge. Apart from a couple of evening's of kids playing football outside it was generally quiet. The lodge was well stocked with essentials.

Relaxing break

The lodges are excellent with everything you could possibly wish for to be comfortable. The only thing I found uncomfortable was the orientation of some of the hot tubs which could be overlooked by others, although we visited at a very quiet time so this had a minimal impact on our stay.

Short break

The lodge was ideally located to Roadford Lakes which is why we choose it, from making the booking, to receiving instructions for entry on arrival etc were all easy. The Lodge itself was well equipped, comfortable and clean, we will be booking again for our next trip.

Best we have stayed in!

We were very impressed with the accommodation. Layout great. Furniture comfortable. All utensils you needed were there. Had a problem with TV but neither of us are technically minded! The site was well laid out & oh so peaceful. After many years of travelling in a variety of countries & types of accommodation, we both felt it could not be beaten. We are hoping to return next year with family.

Christmas 2023

Just spent Christmas in this lovely lodge, it was well equipped with everything we needed, perfect! Very clean and tidy and definitely recommend to anyone who needs a relaxing getaway.

Luxury and comfort.

The lodge was as shown in pictures. We were not disappointed. Comfortable, clean and had all the facilities we needed. Quiet location. Nice hot tub, but very little privacy when using it. Not a secure area for dogs as hoped.

Nice lodge but needs improvement

A lot of cobwebs in places and in certain areas you can tell there was dogs there before us and we had to clean as soon as we get there. Overall it is a lovely lodge but luxury isn’t a word I’d use. The hottub isn’t private at all and people can see you quite easily. Beds aren’t comfortable, in fact it really started to hurt my back by the end of the week as it’s a soft mattress

Perfect Holiday

Park was clean, tidy with plenty of parking adjacent to our lodge. The outdoor space was lovely with a hot tub, comfortable garden furniture and with room to throw a ball for the dog. The lodge itself was spacious, well equipped, clean, tidy and private. The site staff were pleasant and polite. We treated ourselves to breakfast every morning at the Roadford Lake Cafe (2 minutes walk) which is to be recommended and then did a different walk each day with our dog around Roadford Reservoir. The site is close to Dartmoor meaning that each day we were able to access numerous Tor walks knowing we were coming back to such a comfortable, relaxing base.

Rose Lodge

A generously sized lodge with a lovely open plan living, dining and kitchen area. Pros: Big, really well equipped kitchen. Comfy sofas Tastefully decorated Lovely quiet location Cons Missing basic things like hooks for towels, shower caddies for shampoo, body wash ect Hot tub lights didn't work and was really overlooked by next door lodge. Poor outdoor lighting made getting to the hot tub at night quite difficult. Mattress was hard, lumpy and uncomfortable. Tv in the living room wouldn't work until we were signed in to amazon prime, luckily we have an account.
