We originally stayed here when visiting our daughter at Huddersfield Uni and the this was a second visit. everything was excellent and we love the area. Host are excellent at communication and we had a lovely weekend again.
This cottage is absolutely lovely. Clean, comfortable and very quiet. Great village and excellent location for Holmfirth and walks. Also, great hosts. Definitely would return.
Lovely cottage, great communication, beautiful area.
Just what we needed to visit our daughter at Huddersfield Uni. We were looking for something on the lovely countryside around Holmfirth and this ticked all the boxes. Easy check in, plenty of options on just eat and a beautiful, characterful terrace with enclosed yard, perfect for our dog.
We had a lovely four night stay in Lavender Cottage. Communication with the hosts before hand was easy, the cottage was clean and very pretty inside and out. A perfect spot to explore the beautiful area. The village store round the corner was handy.corner
Beautifully kept little property in a lovely village.
The lavender was in bloom and smelling amazing. I had such a relaxing breakfast in the sun on the bench watching the bees and butterflies.
