Nestled in the countryside just outside Hantum is this delightful two-person holiday home, Inn Hantum. This cottage has recently been renovated into a beautiful, luxurious accommodation, complete with all the amenities you need for a wonderful holiday in the Wadden Sea region.

The house has many windows offering magnificent views of the countryside, as well as patio doors that can be opened in good weather to enjoy the outdoors even more—and in the evening, you can admire the most beautiful sunsets.

On the loft, a comfortable queen-size box-spring bed is made up and ready for you, and at night (if you leave the screen open), you can enjoy the starry sky through the XXL skylight. The nights here are truly dark, so the stars are clearly visible—even the Milky Way.

If you’re looking for peace and quiet, this is the place to be… relax and do nothing—it’s possible! A day trip to Ameland or Schiermonnikoog? Definitely recommended! A day of shopping or enjoying the many restaurants and cafes? Then I recommend paying a visit to the historic fortified town of Dokkum.
Or simply stay in Hantum and take a beautiful nature walk to the Buddhist temple, where you can take a look around and get a guided tour from Sherab.

The house is located on the Wadden Sea coast; the Wadden Sea region has been voted the most beautiful nature reserve in the Netherlands, and I absolutely love it. You can walk or bike for hours on end without running into a soul, become completely at one with nature, and leave all the daily hustle and bustle behind.

Walking along the salt marshes, enjoying the peace and quiet, the beautiful landscape, the variety of birds, and above all, the fresh air.
