About this property

Romantic Fish House in Friesdorf directly on the dike! NEWLY RENOVATED !!! WIFI

We, Kor and Nynke, run for 20 years, the traditional restaurant 'Eetcafe de Kalkman' in Wierum.
Our small fishing village with about 350 inhabitants lies lovable directly on the North Sea and is a popular starting point for cycling, boat tours, mudflats and trips to the surrounding picturesque towns and the charming rural landscape of our homeland Frisian.
Due to many requests from our daily visitors we have bought a small but very cozy fisherman's house, which is open all year for a comprehensive renovation and redesign as a holiday house.
Our house can accommodate 2 to 4 people. The sleeping area in. 1 Floor is a new fixed stairs accessible with a romantic double bed and in the rear area with 2 single beds. Bedroom renovated is new !!
Our house is fully furnished and equipped with central heating.
A parking space, a small barbecue area, bicycles, garden chairs, barbecue, etc. is available to our guests free of charge.


We ask our gesture that bring needed linens and towels,
Upper beds are naturally present.

Loved the location

Pros: Location is ideal. 2 doors down from a delicious restaurant and bar. BTW owned by the landlord. Short ride to ferry to Ameland, grocery stores, many nice other small towns. There’s a lot to explore in the area. Cons: steep small stairs to beds. Next time I would bring extra towels and personal supplies.

Wir sind sehr zufrieden. Das kleine Haus ist eine absolute Empfehlung unsererseits. Es ist gemĂŒtlich und hat alles was man zu einem Urlaub braucht. Es ist sehr sauber und unsere Tiere (Hund & Katze) haben sich ebenso wohl gefĂŒhlt. Die Vermieter sind zuvorkommend und sehr auf das Wohl ihrer GĂ€ste bedacht. ErwĂ€hnenswert, ist die freundliche AtmosphĂ€re der Gastwirtschaft, die den Vermietern gehört, ist sehr zu empfehlen. Urig schön und sehr schmackhafte ĂŒppige Gerichte! Wir wollen wiederkommen.

Schönes kleines schnuckliges HĂ€uschen inmitten des ruhigen Dorfes Wierum. Der Deich ist keine Minuten vom Haus entfernt. Wierum ist sehr ruhig und gemĂŒtlich. Da das Haus nicht in einem Ferienpark steht und drumherum Menschen wohnen, kann es auch zu AlltagsgerĂ€uschen von Arbeiten in der Nachbarschaft kommen. Es ist nicht ganz einfach alle vier Personen an den Essenstisch zubekommen, aufgrund des Platzes, aber es hat geklappt. :) Es gibt oben nur eine TĂŒr zwischen den Schlafzimmer, sodass das eine Schlafzimmer ohne Trennwand ist. Im Bettchen unterm Spitzboden ist es sehr gemĂŒtlich, wenn der Wind ums Haus blĂ€st.

Der Ort Wierum ist ein schöner Platz fĂŒr Ruhe und Erholung und ist fĂŒr viele AusflĂŒge ein guter Startpunkt,Das Haus ist allerdings nicht frisch renoviert, Bad ist okay,Schlafzimmer ist okay, mit Blick auf den Deich, im Wohnzimmer ist wenig Platz, fĂŒr 2 Personen in Ordnung, es sollte unbedingt gestrichen werden und mal ausgemistet werden. Die Gartenmöbel sind neben den MĂŒlleimer und die RĂ€der sehen alt aus, draußen ist es leider nicht ansprechend. Im BegrĂŒĂŸungsordner sind ĂŒber 10 Jahre alte Prospekte darin. Die KĂŒche ist neu.

Sehr gemĂŒtliche Unterkunft

Sehr sauberes Haus.Sehr originell eingerichtet. Uns hat es in dieser Unterkunft an nichts gefehlt. Wir sind uns sicher das wir im kommenden Jahr wieder kommen, dann bleiben wir auch etwas lĂ€nger.Die Umgebung ist traumhaft schön um ruhe zu tanken. Man hat sehr viele Möglichkeiten seine freizeit zu gestalten. Hier gibt es Museen, ausflugsziele und jede menge Natur.Liebe GrĂŒĂŸe Familie Schupp

Da hat alles gepasst

Das kleine HÀuschen ist gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Es liegt praktisch direkt am Deich. Der Vermieter ist verlÀsslich, unkompliziert, immer ansprechbar und sehr freundlich. Wir hatten wunderschöne erholsame Urlaubstage und können uns gut vorstellen wieder hierher zu kommen.

Unkompliziert mit viel Ruhe

Check in und Check out total unkompliziert. Sehr ruhig, hinter dem Deich. Alles war genau wie beschrieben. Man benötigt ein Auto, um einkaufen zu gehen. Wenn man es ruhig mag, ist man genau richtig. Wunderschöne Sonnenauf- und untergĂ€nge Preis/ Leistung passte auch. Ein entspannter Urlaub. 👍

GemĂŒtlicher Urlaub in kleinem Fischerhaus

Wir hatten zusammen mit unserem fĂŒnfjĂ€hrigen Sohn einen schönen Kurzurlaub nahe des Deichs im schönen Dorf Wierum. Vom Deich aus kann man im Dunkeln den Leuchtturm von Schiermonnikoog leuchten sehen. Das Dorf ist ebenfalls sehr schön, mit alter Kirche. Wir haben uns in dem gemĂŒtlich eingerichteten Haus rundum wohl gefĂŒhlt.

4 nachten Wierum

Heerlijk gelogeerd, in knus klein huisje op super lokatie. Vlak achter de zeedijk, en het Wad. Voor 2 personen groot genoeg, en van alle gemakken voorzien. Brandschoon, ruime badkamer, aardig hardwerkend horeca echtpaar. Kornelis en zn vrouw runnen een eetcafe waar je heerlijk kan eten. Aanrader !

Osterferien 2024

Es war eine perfekte Woche - die Lage des Hauses, das Haus selber waren super. Es war alles genau wie beschrieben und hat unsere Erwartungen mehr als erfĂŒllt! Wir (zwei Erwachsene und unsere 9jĂ€hrige Tochter+Hund) können das Objekt und die Vermieter und auch ihr Cafe/Restaurant nur empfehlen!!!
