Lascaux Countryside Gite - Family run and pet friendly

Beautiful countryside gite sleeps up to 7, only 2km from Montiganc centre.
In the heart of the countryside and just 1km to the famous Lascaux caves, come and relax and unwind with the whole family or a group of friends. The Lounge hosts 2 large sofas & 2 sofa chairs to sit around the lovely log burner. (**surcharge for logs applies**). The lounge opens onto the outside area that is fully fenced where you will find a gas bbq (*summer months*) and a picnic table.
Each of the 3 double bedrooms hosts a king size bed that can also be configured as 2 single beds and there is one room with a single bed. (*Each bedroom is supplied with an electric radiator during the colder months*.)

A great big gite

Apart from the dreadful weather we had a marvelous break. Polly and Mark were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The gite has everything you need and an amazingly large shower. Great for dogs with nany dog walks on the doorstep. Close to montignac lascaux and all the wonderful gardens, chateaux, food offered in the Perigord Noir. Highly recommended.

De bonnes vacances

Groupe familial de 7 personnes,nous nous sommes donnes rendez-vous au gîte de Montignac.Le propriétaire nous attendait et nous a fait découvrir le gîte : bâtisse ancienne ,grand espace à vivre,cuisine ouverte ,chambres spacieuses et bien renovees.Nous avons visité la région la journée, la maison était fraîche notre retour ,(volets fermés au départ,).Nos hôtes sont charmants,réactifs à nos demandes et très discrets.Du fait de l'ancienneté de la bâtisse,il est difficile d'avoir un ménage impeccable comme dans un logis moderne..Pour toutes ces raisons,nous recommandons ce gîte sans hésiter.

Très bien accueilli, avec gentillesse et simplicité, pas de recommandations superflues. La maison est simple mais possède tout ce qu'on a besoin. Couchage impeccable, tranquillité, pas loin de la ville que demander de plus surtout pour le prix du séjour. Je le recommande.

La casa es bonita, cómoda, bien equipada y muy bien ubicada en el campo pero al lado del pueblo. Sitios imperdibles que visitar muy cerca cómo las Cuevas de Lascaux. Polly y Mark muy amables, muy buenos anfitriones.

La maison est très agréable un cadeau de bienvenue a été laissé, ce qui est adorable, environnement calme et verdoyant, possibilité d'amener son animal. Seul petit bémol : le salon sent un peu l'odeur de chien

Week end ascension

Logement correspond en tout point à la discription de l'annonce sauf petit problème la télévision qui ne peut être utilisé qu'avec des codes netfix ou amazon prime, donc problème quand le séjour tombe avec une final de rugby La Rochelle contre Leinster et que l'on as un supporter dans le groupe. Sinon Polly et Mark sont des hôtes qui nous ont bien accueillis, leurs literies est super bien, nous avons pu aussi profiter du poele à bois. Et de plus il est bien situer pour profiter du calme de la campagne mais non loin de la ville de montignac lascaux. Merci et peut être à une autre fois
