We very much enjoyed our stay in Shipston on Stour. The cottage was perfect for our group and the short walk into the village to restaurants great as it rained a lot.
The only issue we had was it is right on busy road A34 and very noise with cars and lorries. The front bedrooms were noisy into the night. Otherwise very comfortable and well stocked house.

Sorry to hear that you found the road noisy; unfortunately a slight downside to the central location, but thankfully it doesn’t bother most guests. To combat this, we do have secondary glazing in both front bedrooms.
