It is one of Devon's most beautiful little villages, famous for its carpets, which are sometimes compared to Turkish examples. Barley cottage was a spotless cosy and well equipped home. It is part of a small development so there are neighbours and the garden isn’t attached to the house but it wasn’t a problem for us. The garden is large and has an amazing indoor barbecue. Lovely hamper from the owners which was very thoughtful. We left a pair of good wellies so are hoping to get them back. I highly recommend Barley Cottage for a family stay. Thank you Lisa and family.
