Chapelton Cottage is a newly renovated terrace cottage in the picturesque village of Strachur with views out over Loch Fyne. An ideal base to explore this magnificent region in Argyll, on the West Coast of Scotland.
Inviting and welcoming the two bedroom self-catering cottage is filled with modern and quality furnishings throughout. Perfectly designed for a holiday break for a family of four or a romantic retreat for two.
Fresh and contemporary this gorgeous cottage is designed to suit guests looking for home comforts. The downstairs level features the living room, kitchen, dining and the family bathroom.
The living room offers a comfortable corner sofa and an inset electric fire heater, an ideal space to relax and unwind. For entertainment there is free Wi-Fi and a Smart TV with live streaming, ideal for guests who have Prime movies or Netflix passwords.
The open kitchen is new and well-equipped with quality appliances, including an electric oven, hob, microwave, and dishwasher. Ideal for cooking up a feast with delicious local produce. The dining area has views of the loch.
There is a washing machine and clothes airer for the convenience of longer stays.
Upstairs the cottage has two well appointed bedrooms complete with bed linen and quality furnishings. The master bedroom features a double bed and two comfy seats at the window so you can admire the loch views. The second bedroom has two single beds with views out over the loch.
The family bathroom is located on the ground floor level, complete with a luxury bathtub, shower over the bath, hand basin, Bluetooth shaver socket mirror with lights, toilet, heated towel rail and storage cupboards.
A travel cot and highchair are available on request.
There is a small front garden with outdoor seats which is accessed by the front door entrance where you can step outside in the warmer months to soak up the views.
In the peaceful village of Strachur you will find a local store, cafe, just a short walk away. The famous Creggans Inn Hotel and Restaurant is also within walking distance. Within an easy driving distance visit historic Inveraray and discover the magnificent Inveraray Castle.
Chapleton Cottage is an ideal location to experience what this wonderful region has to offer; loch views, local fresh produce, walking tracks, local attractions, fishing and so much more. Visit Loch Fyne Oysters and Fyne Ales Brewery, both located at the head of Loch Fyne.
Located on the edge of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park the area is a haven for wildlife with red squirrels, deers, porpoise and seals. An ideal location for those with a love of sailing, fishing, or those who will simply enjoy the natural beauty in this magical place.
Explore further afield to Argyll's Secret Coast or take the ferry to the Isle of Bute to visit Mount Stuart. It's also an easy day trip to Oban, one of the seafood capitals of Scotland or to Kilmartin Glen, another historic region full of Scottish history.
