I was seeking and found a place for a solo retreat. My basic needs of safety, security, and cleanliness were met. The secondary qualities I was anticipating also hit the mark: a gorgeous wee home away from home in a secluded location - yet a close drive to a nearby town. The owners, Alan and Avril, are lovely and they really do such a wonderful job making guests feel at home. The hot tub is a great bonus!

There was a wee bird in the (outdoor) tree. The birds were very cute and chirpy.
