House of Alexa is conveniently located in central Positano. where guest until 5 adults, in 3 bedrooms on Two queen Beds, one and half bed.

The location is served by several excellent restaurants and bars, where you can enjoy refreshments and delicious food:
Nearest us there are two groceries and all kind of shops.
The nearest beaches are within walking distance of the accommodation. You can reach “Fornillo beach” and “Big Beach” by climbing down a mix of pedestrian walkways and stairs in less than 10 minutes (600/800 meters – 660/880 yds).

House of Alexa is directly reachable from a step-less road and the entrance is wheelchair accessible.

There is no need for a car during your staying. If you have one, you will be able to park it in a public parking lot located 100 meters away from the house.

House of Alexa is part of a set of private accommodations. Within a 20 meters radius, there are other two houses together with the same owner’s house that will be at your complete disposal for any assistance during your stay.

THE TERRACE is equipped with a table with a large umbrella, chairs and sun loungers. The terrace has sea view.

THE BATHROOMS has a shower, a sink, and the toilet. You can access the bathroom from the living room.

MASTER BEDROOM has a large double bed ( 160 x 200 cm - 63 x 79 inch) air conditioning and a heating unit. You can access the room from the living room.

THE GUEST BEDROOM 1 has a Double bed ( 160 x 190 cm – 63 x 75 inch) air conditioning and a heating unit. You can access the room from the living room.

Wonderful Stay in Positano

We completely enjoyed our stay in Positano in this three bedroom, two bath home. Gaetano was very responsive and made sure that our stay was flawless. The beds are super comfortable and the view from the patio is exquisite . Definitely recommend this property to anyone.

We had a lovely time and enjoyed our stay. The house is nicely located to shops and restaurants, but to get to the beach there are many stairs. However, that is the norm for Positano! The host was helpful and very responsive to questions. Thank you!

Wonderful location in Positano

We visited Positano with my parents, who cannot do a lot of stairs. This property was located on the main road, which made it very easy for avoiding any stairs to get to/from the property. The apartment was well maintained. Beautiful view off the balcony of the town and sea. Location was great, close to some great restaurants, and just a short staircase away from groceries. Gaetno was extremely helpful in arranging a transfer for us, and giving us the lay of the land and recommendations for activities. We would definitely use this property again.

Fantastic property. We were six people (4 teens). Space was great, 3 full bedrooms. Kitchen was just what we needed. He even had milk and coffee available. Also, before we arrived, they had reached out to see if we needed any transportation arranged. It was nice to have the offer as it is sometimes difficult to get trustworthy companies for transportation. When we arrived Gaetano went through all the dining and transportation options. There is a wonderful map on the wall that shows where everything is. There are a lot of stairs to get to the beach so be ready to walk, although the property is main floor so that made it easier. The balcony and view are fantastic. Overall, an excellent experience. Thank you.

The apartment is dated but was very comfortable for our family of 4. There are nice restaurants and shops nearby along with grocery stores. Our host was responsive and helpful with local recommendations. When visiting Positano be prepared to climb some stairs! Overall we enjoyed our stay.

summary of property

Overall very comfortable property that met our needs. Beautiful views from all windows and terrace. Property is by no means luxurious and is a bit dated and on the older side but very clean and spacious. Biggest issue is it is rather hard to get to from main area where most restaurants and night life, beaches, marina, etc. Yes it is walkable as advertised but it is a rather long uphill climb and involves many stairs if you try to make it shorter. We are all fairly fit and we found it exhausting. Taxis are not easy to get in Positano either so not always a valid option. We did not bother trying to learn the bus system so perhaps that would be useful if you put in the effort.

Fantastic

The property was equiped with everything you need. A fully equiped kitchen, toiletries and towels. A balcony with stunning views out to sea. There is a grocery shop and wine shop close by if you want to cook. There are restraunts very close to the property and you will pass many more on the way down to the beach. There is also a bus stop, for the Interno bus, very close to the property, which was convenient for when you dont want to walk up the hill again.

Over and above help

We stayed in Positano for my sons wedding. I was needing several items that I didn’t want to carry on plane. When I asked Gaetano where to buy them he told me he would take care of it. He found them, took pictures for me to choose and they were inside the house when we arrived. The house was extremely clean and comfortable and the front door is on the street. No stairs to carry luggage. We would definitely stay at one of his places again

A little piece of paradise

This property was perfectly located. Gaetano and his daughter were perfect hosts , providing us with breakfast food ( we got in very late) and delicious Italian coffee. The property is well equipped and will provide everything you need for a pleasant stay. Breakfast on the terrace and wine in the evening for the sunset.

Gaetano met us at the door and couldn’t have been kinder! The apartment was very clean, ample space for our family of four and perfectly located. (read...street level) He set us up with basic necessities for dinner and even had a box of cocoa puff type cereal for the kids. He helped us arrange a day trip to Capri (Francesco from Cassiopeia tours was great!) and gave suggestions on all sorts of other activities. (YOU NEED to go see Rosanna at Bread and Wine...skip the fancy dinner and eat right at her table to feel like a local) The terrace was the perfect spot for morning cappuccino and evening (or anytime!) wine. Don’t hesitate to book this apartment.

Travelling with my sister, we loved our time at Alexa House. Gaetano's tips made it so much easier for us to find our way around Positano and surrounds and breakfast on the terrace with that view needs no words. We liked that it was in a quieter area but with everything we needed close by and still easy to get to the downtown bustle. The washing machine was an added bonus. Thanks Gaetano we had a simply fabulous time at Alexa House
