Lovely villa which accommodated our family of 9 adults and 2 children well. The hosts Alison and Scott were very attentive and supportive and sorted out a few small issues we had at the start of our stay. The pool area is lovely, has plenty of sunbeds and pool towels. The outside eating area is fab too and very convenient having the downstairs appt with kitchen and loo on hand. Plenty of pool toys in the store room and we left a few too. Nice location and access to the local shops is easy. Beach about a 20 min walk downhill but not as steep as some areas nearby. Local taxis are quite expensive into fuengirola, benalmadena and marbella. We walked back along the boardwalk from Mijas which took about 45 mins but is a pleasant walk. All in all a lovely family villa.

Exeptional!

Looking for a place to stay in southern spain w easy access to the beach, food, gym (oxygen around the corner), look no further!The 2 bedroom apt set up below the main villa is excellent for families w small children as well as the pool. Communication was also outstanding. Enjoy your holiday!

Amazing villa with genuine home from home feeling.

The villa was beautiful and exactly as pictured. It had a home from home feeling with attention to detail. Every effort was made to make us feel comfortable and well informed of local amenities. We will definitely return. Our best holiday to date 10/10.

Beautiful villa

The villa is absolutely beautiful...in a quiet area but very close to shops, bars and restaurants. It is situated at the top of a hill and it does have some steep steps but it is easily the best villa we have ever stayed in ...so pretty, immaculately kept and equipped to the highest standards. Both the owners and the management team are excellent communicators and we felt very well looked after. The pool is great, the air con very efficient and there are plenty of nice areas to sit in sun or shade. We had a wonderful time.

Fantastic Stay!!!

From start to finish the holiday was great. The hosts, Alana and Mike, were so helpful and made the booking process so easy, answering all relevant questions we had quickly. Alison and Scott, the property managers, were absolutely fantastic. They couldn't do enough for us. The only downside for us was the renovation work to the villa opposite (which I know cannot be helped), but it did make the villa overlooked and a little noisy at times. However, I would totally recommend this villa to families/groups of friends. Lots of nice restaurants and bars within walking distance. Thanks for a great holiday!

Beautiful Villa with a fantastic pool

We stayed at the Villa and the apartment with a group of 12 people. The house is spacey, clean, and well equipped. The heated pool was really enjoyable even though we were visiting in late October. Everything worked perfectly even with a large group. The Villa is located on a quiet and safe neighborhood, but still within a walking distance from restaurants and grocery stores. We had some problems with electricity, but the property management and the owners were very helpful and solved everything as fast as they could. Highly recommended!

Fantastic family stay!

We have just returned from a wonderful stay in the villa/apt. We needed a villa with 6 bedrooms, in a central location so we didn’t need to drive and within a 30 minute drive of the airport and this villa ticked all the boxes. Fully air conditioned with free WiFi was an added bonus. We paid for the pool heating (which was well worth it in May) which made it really pleasant to enter and the kids spend the whole day in the pool. The BBQ area was perfect and the table tennis table was well used by all the family. Mike and Alana were amazing with communication before departure and Alison and Scott on arrival were equally fantastic. Nothing was to much trouble. I would 100% recommend this villa. The local bars and shops were all you need however a 10 minute walk further there was so much more to explore. 5*

Simply Excellent

We were a party of 7 adults, 4 children and 1 baby who stayed at this wonderful villa in June and I could not recommend it enough. What particularly stood out was the care and attention to the details, this wasn't just a company renting out a villa for profit, this was a family property that the owners wanted you to enjoy. Alison and Scott, who manage the property, met us on arrival and were on hand for anything, they could not have been more helpful. The villa is spacious, light and airy, and fitted with everything you could need. It is walkable to some bars, restaurants and the beach, with taxis and ubers easily available should you wish to go further afield. The pool and gardens are beautiful, well maintained and colourful. We all loved our stay and did not want to leave, we feel very lucky to have stayed there and we all said we would love to return. Thank you Alana and Mike.

Exceptional!!

We have just returned home from this beautiful villa after an amazing holiday as a family of 10 (3 generations)The communication we received from Alana and Mike was excellent and they answered any questions we had both prior to and after making the booking.About a week before our arrival, we also received communication via what’s app from Alison and Scott who manage the property to introduce themselves and help with instructions for our arrival.They were also waiting to meet us to show us around and answer any questions which we found really helpful.Alison and Scott were always on hand to help with any questions during our stay and they looked after us so well. Thank you :)Villa Cielo Azul is in a very quiet cul-de-sac yet within easy walking distance to a variety of restaurants and a small supermarket which was great for daily essentials.The bigger supermarket (Mercadona) was about a 10 mins downhill walk.We used a local taxi to return with our first larger shop instead of a harder uphill walk back, but walked happily both ways for the rest of the time.The owners have thought of everything to make this a perfect home from home holiday villa and we could not fault it. It is exactly as described and with much more besides.Of note, we prearranged to have the pool heated as we were there the first week in June and this was well worth it to see our grandchildren enjoying themselves.We would have no hesitation in recommending this villa and would definitely return.

Fantastic!

We were a multi-generational family group so the Villa and Apartment Cielo Azul was absolutely perfect for our stay. I had been following the Facebook page so knew what to expect regarding the recent improvements made to the villa, but in reality it exceeded our expectations. The villa is situated in a very quiet residential area, is absolutely beautiful and has everything that anybody would ever need for a self-catering holiday. I have never been anywhere so well equipped. The welcome hampers were very much appreciated too. The beds were extremely comfortable. There were multiple seating areas on different levels so you could chase the sun - or the shade - whatever time of day. We certainly made use of the hot tub in the evenings and the pool every day - I am definitely missing my early morning swim now I am home…… I have nothing negative to say at all about the villa - great communication with Alana and Mick, and Alison and Scott were very welcoming. All in all, a fabulous stay and I hope one day to be able to return.

Had a great week at this property with all our family. Ideal location with plenty of room for 8 adults and 4 children. Little ones lived the pool. Lots to do around this area. Villa is excellent highly recommend.

Great Villa ! We loved our holiday!

The villa is fantastic! From booking through to departure everything was great. We were two families of four with kids aged 3-7. The villa has everything you need and the BBQ area is a very special addition. There are plenty of places to eat nearby and the supermarket is a 10 minutes walk and there is a taxi rank next to the supermarket as well - as we decided not to hire a car for the week. Taxi's (uber) into Mijas worked well for us as well! Both Alana and Allison were a great help before we arrived and Allison was there to welcome us and show us around when we got there. There is plenty of information to help you work everything in the villa and recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the local area. All in all a perfect week for our holiday and we would book the villa again!! Thank you xx

Beautiful villa

We've just spent two weeks in this beautiful villa and apartment! A family of 12 ranging from ages 8 to 76. Lovely modern villa within walking distance to local shops and bars, easy access to other parts of Mijas/Marbella too. Lovely pool area with bbq and plenty of shaded areas if required. Would definitely recommend. Good communication beforehand with owners and also during stay with the management team in Calahonda. Thanks again

Wow!

Firstly wow just wow, what a beautiful amazing villa! We’ve just returned home after spending 10 days there. We were excited to book after seeing the impressive photos online, what we didn’t know was that since those photos the villa has had loads more improvements such as the addition of huge sliding doors overlooking the garden and pool not to mention beautiful new furniture and soft furnishings! We went as a group of 4 adults (one couple, two friends) plus a toddler. The villa worked perfectly especially having our little two year old daughter with us. Lots of different eating and sitting areas to choose from. The outside kitchen by the pool was perfect for our early evening barbecues. Our daughter slept in the huge bed in the master suite with us. When it was nap time in the afternoon I was able to set up the camera/monitor and have lunch and sun bathe on the top terrace while she slept less than 10 feet away and when she went to bed in the evening the 4 of us took our drinks up to the top terrace so we were close to her if she woke up. As well has several sun loungers there’s also a large shaded day bed by the pool with covered pegola which was an absolute godsend for us and our little one. We’ve never stayed anywhere as well equipped or as home from home as the villa. We were gutted to leave (and normally we’d be ready for home after 10 days… not this time) The owners Alana and Mike together with Alison and Scott (the Villas Management Team) were fantastic. Always on hand if/when we needed them for any help or recommendations. We felt well looked after from our initial enquiry and right through to when we returned home when they checked we’d got home safely. We had an absolutely amazing holiday and thoroughly recommend it.

Beautiful spacious Villa

The Villa did not disappoint and was exactly as listed. Spacious, lots of facilities / equipment and a great outside space for relaxing or socialising. Alana, Mike and the local team were extremely helpful and responsive to our needs. Would recommend to a good size family as there is plenty of space to have “me time” if needed!

Fabulous multi generational family holiday!

Gran and grandad had separate apartment , mum and dad and daughters in villa. Villa and apartment immaculate. Extremely well equipped, nice to find basics like salt and pepper! Outside space AMAZING! Pool great with lots of sunbeds. Table tennis a real bonus! Overall great property would recommend strongly!
