Villa Despina is a recently built two storey building with 5 bedrooms located 1 km from the villages of Asomatos in the mountainous area of southern Crete.

The villa can accommodate up to 13 people and has a pool with a children's pool, hamam, hydro-massage, barbecue and playground for children.

Facilities - Inside the villa

The open plan ground floor has a living room with a corner sofa bed and satellite TV. Also the living room is equipped with a fireplace. Leading off this there is a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, a big dining area, the hamam room and the jacuzzi hot tub. There are two ground floor bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two twin bed, three bathrooms, one with a corner bath/shower/WC and two with a shower/WC. There is also a washing machine on the hall area.

On the first floor there are a further three bedrooms, the first with one double bed and a single bed and the other two with one double bed each. There are further three showers/WC. All of the bedrooms open up to either a balcony or a sun terrace with patio furniture offering a variety of views over the magnificent surrounding countryside - the Kourtaliotis gorge, all the way to the sea. All bedrooms have air conditioning for free. For cooler spells the house is also equipped with central heating for extra local charge.

The villa has a pool with a children's pool, barbecue, playground for children and can accommodate up to 13 people in 200 m2 of living space, built in a 10000 m2 plot, with hundreds of olive and fruit trees and other vegetation.

No other buildings exist for about 300 meters.

Villa Despina is close to the traditional Taverna of Despina. Same owners, same quality! The food is homemade and the ingredients are homegrown.
