About this property
Walking Distance to Pearl Street, Chautauqua, and University of Colorado Campus
Escape to downtown Boulder and enjoy our comfortable modern home in the heart of everything that is special in Boulder. We are walking distance to Pearl Street, Chautauqua Park, the University of Colorado campus and football stadium, and restaurants, bars, microbreweries, shopping, and all the recreational activities that Boulder has to offer. Our remodeled home is 4 blocks to the Boulder Creek Path where you can enjoy biking or walking along the creek. It is walking distance to the amazing Chautauqua Park with the iconic Flatirons with access to hundreds of miles of hiking trails. West Pearl Street is 6 blocks downhill and another several blocks to many restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping. The Farmer's Market in the summer is a nice walk on the Boulder Creek Path where you can enjoy a bite to eat and take home some fresh veggies for a dinner at the house. Preparing meals is a joy in the open kitchen with high end appliances. It is stocked with everything you would need to have a home cooked meal including pantry items and plenty of pans, cooking utensils, and serving bowls. The dining table seats 8 people.
The property is set back from the street and has many huge eighty year old pine trees which adds to the privacy and feeling away from everything but right in the center of the city. There are "peek-a-boo" views of the Flatirons and Settler's Park Red Rocks (West Pearl) that is especially spectacular at sunset. "The Hill" with restaurants and coffee shops is a 15 minute easy walk and a fun modern coffee shop is about a 5 minute walk. Mackey Auditorium on the Colorado University campus is about a 20 minute walk with a path going under the busy Broadway Avenue. The football stadium is about a 30 minute walk.
Our property is extremely family friendly. There is plenty of parking in the driveway including a circle drive that accommodates two to three cars. Our property is stocked with games for all ages. Upon request, there is a portable-crib, baby gate, high chair, booster seat, plastic kitchenware, etc.
Outside, there are three areas to sit and enjoy the hummingbirds and peacefulness. Inside, there are separate comfortable seating areas great to visit or read a book. The upper level has a king size bed in the Master Bedroom and an en suite and there is second bedroom with a queen bed and an adjacent full bathroom. The downstairs has a third bedroom with a queen size bed and adjacent bathroom. There is a fourth sleeping area with a very comfortable queen memory foam sleeper sofa in the lower level. The home can comfortably sleep eight people. There is a full size washer and dryer for your use. A whole house fan cools off the house at night almost instantly. There is also central air conditioning if needed.
We have a full size washer/dryer, central heat and AC, high speed internet, 3 flat screen TV’s, ceiling fans in two of the bedrooms, grill, two full size patio sets on the lower deck and in front. A seating area with a fire pit on the upper deck.
The city of Boulder requires that all short term rental properties be the owners primary residence, as is ours. No large/loud parties are allowed, and we ask that any outdoor activities be kept to a low volume after 10pm out of consideration for our neighbors. If you are looking to host a party weekend, we kindly ask that you keep looking. The maximum rental term is 28 nights.
We sincerely hope you enjoy our home. We take great pride in providing a clean, comfortable, lovely property for your time in Boulder. Please let us know anything we can do to help your stay be more enjoyable.
We strongly encourage guests to purchase vacation insurance which will protect your vacation investment against unforeseen circumstances such as illness, weather, flight cancellations, etc.
Please contact the owner for any other dates that you are interested even if the calendar shows booked as we may be able to accommodate your schedule!

About the host
Hosted by Kristina

We have lived in the area for many years. Both of us left our midwest roots in exchange for an active lifestyle and outdoor recreation. We love everything that Boulder has to offer!!
Why they chose this property
The area is amazing. We were looking for the feel of being in the mountains yet walking distance to town and Chautauqua hiking trails. Some days we do not even get in our car! The outdoor lifestyle is perfect with access to countless trails. We enjoy dinner and drinks at the many restaurants and coffee shops nearby. It has a private feel since the home is set back from the street and is hidden by over a dozen old pine trees.
What makes this property unique
The property feels very private even though it is located conveniently in the city. The proximity to restaurants, bars, coffee shops, hiking trails and the campus makes it a desirable property. The entire house has been gutted and remodeled in the last several years making it a modern comfortable home.
