Peaceful relaxing getaway on the Great Sacandaga Lake.

Ranch style home with 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath with a washer/dryer attached. There are a Queen and a Full size beds available. Newly renovated, lakeside view with dock and deck overlooking lake.
Outdoor fire pit with seating around. Also, patio and grill. Dock is not suitable for large boats but great for fishing and kayaks. A fishermen's dream. There is a public boat launch a mile down the road. Sits on one acre of private land.
The house has a full kitchen with a microwave, electric stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, a Keurig coffee is available, a toaster oven also with a wrap around kitchen counter with seating for 4. NO PETS AND NO SMOKING. The house also have excellent cable and Wi Fi service and a field stone fireplace with limited usage.
The house has a well and septic system so care is very important when it comes to using the plumbing. NO BABY WIPES, NO FEMININE PRODUCTS and careful on the toilet paper. The house also has a full security system with cameras on premise. System is disarmed before arrival.

Great house

Loved this house, super clean and comfortable. The view is awesome. Well stocked with everything you need for a few days stay. Definitely would rent again.

We had a fantastic time at this extremely clean, private, and well appointed getaway. We especially appreciated the setup of the property, with several different areas to relax inside and outside. To top it off, the fishing was great.

Wonderful Serene Lakeside Retreat

Our stay at this Sacandaga Lake property exceeded expectations. Comfortable, expertly furnished with all modern amenities, and very clean & tidy. Enjoyed kayaking on GSL, hiking Hope Falls, and sampling some nice restaurants and stores in Northville. Hope to return here next year. Thank you Rosemarie and Michael!

My family had a wonderful stay at this idyllic property. The house is lovely and had everything we needed. It is very well maintained, both inside and out. Being right on the lake is, of course, fantastic. Rosemarie and Paul made us feel very welcome, and check-in and check-out was extremely straightforward. It was really, really great. We would *definitely* stay here again!

Sacandaga experience

The property was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. The photos understated how nice the house was layed out and appointed. The grounds were beautiful and the exterior furniture, deck, grill and fire pit were fantastic. It is a beautiful property that gave us exactly what we were looking for, a quiet respite from our busy life.

Another great vaca

We came back this year and enjoyed perfect weather. Rosemarie held up her end with the weather. This is a nicely laid out house well stocked & on a great spot on the Sacandaga. An easy ride to Northville if you need something.

Perfect Getaway

Great house, even nicer than the photos. Lots of steps down to dock! Lovely views, very well equipt home! Loved the porch. Highly recommend JR Farm store and cafe, wonderful sandwiches and baked goods. ( gluten free as well). Fabulous dinner at Timeless Tavern as well. Enjoyed chilling by the lake and exploring the area. Would definitely stay again.

Great getaway place…

The property is wonderful. The inside of the house is very cozy and welcoming. Kitchen has everything you need if you want to have meals there. Very clean. The outside is so nice. Beautiful views and lots of room. The dock area was not as the picture showed, no tiny beach, just rocks, but we had fun fishing off of it, even caught a few!

Perfect getaway

The property was very clean, the location was great for peace, relaxation, and access to outdoor activities. The beach is great too. The house is comfortable (and really cute). The owners, Rosemarie and Michael are very responsive. We didn’t have any issues during our stay but I did have a request. I can’t say enough about this place and how nice the owner’s were. I am already planning my next stay.

Wonderful cabin!

I rented this place for a long weekend and my brother joined me. The house and property are amazing and the pictures do not do justice to how nice it is. It isn’t a stale vacation house. You can tell it’s a home away from home that is loved by the owners. The views of and access to the lake are incredible. It’s a climb down but totally worth it. We were there for perfect and rainy days and had a blast the whole time. Rosemarie and the hosts are great and really communicative. I would definitely stay here again.

A Perfect Getaway

My wife and I were looking for a place to escape the urban busyness of our day to day lives when I came across this gem. It was exactly what we needed. The house was cozy and comfortable, and the location was peaceful and gorgeous, just as you’d imagine from the photos. The owner and property management did a fine job of making sure things were clean, stocked, and accessible. If you’re looking to relax and enjoy some fresh air, I can’t recommend this property enough.

A nice lake shore break in Hadley

We really enjoyed the stay here. The place is nicely setup and on a great spot on the Sacandaga. We had to 'work' a few hours and the WiFi was a life saver. The place was clean and perfectly prepped. One beef: I clearly stated 'no rain all week', and Rosemarie promised no problem. That's the last time I take her advice! Otherwise, the place & support was great!

Great lake Sacandaga

Our monthlong stay was absolutely great. The views from the house are amazing. The house is the perfect adirondack home.and the host, Michael and Rose are the best host you could ever have! We happen to have a tornado hit the area which resulted in a few minor issues due to the weather. Rose and Micheal were very quick to contact us and went WAY up and beyond to address the issues which again were minor. We are looking at repeating this trip next year and staying here again. I should also mention they have a property manager locally which was also excellent. Best place on a great lake!

Amazing views in a peaceful setting

Thank you so much for opening your home up to us! We enjoyed sitting on the beach in the warm sun reading a great book, visiting several historic sites in the area including the site of the Battle of Saratoga, and the surprise (for us) "end of summer" celebration that the homeowners on the lake participate in complete with bonfires and fireworks. That was absolutely magical to behold! Your home is the perfect place for getting away from it all and relaxing! Thank you!

Quintessential Lakehouse Charm

I loved this property with just one exception. It was a very hot week and the air conditioner was no where near sufficient to cool the house off.

Spectacular Home

Prior to this trip, I had looked at the pictures of this house 5 or 6 times, just to assess what we needed to bring (and dream of what was to come). When my wife and I first arrived, we had no idea how cozy and warm the home actually was! Highlights from the home include: well-stocked kitchen; comfortable beds; large bathroom (also well-stocked); window AC unit that was more than sufficient in the 90-degree heat; fun decorations all over; amazing back yard with plenty of seating, a hammock and fireplace (that we used twice for s'mores). You can get your blood pumping with a few trips up and down the stairs to the dock... which by the way, I caught 9 or 10 bass from. There is also a resident bald eagle that flew by a few times, and a deer that strolls through the yard early in the morning. I could go on and on, but you get the point - this home is a place to unwind. There are plenty of small hikes within 30 minutes, and everything you need for shopping/take-out food is 15 minutes away in Northville. Rose told me all I needed to bring was food, and that is 100% accurate - everything else you need is there (spices, linens, etc). In summary, we obviously highly recommend this property. A great getaway!

Such a beautiful place with a beautiful view that you can easily see with all the windows. Happened to be a full moon so the night view was spectacular too.
