Abby's Place 5 - Cowgirl Up!

Luxurious home away from home just minutes from downtown, Abby’s Place is for you. Think Home on the Range cowgirl style! Windmill outside with rocking chairs on front porch. Comfortable living area with sofa sleeper (queen memory foam mattress) and large flat screen TV. Decorated with authentic western gear, including cowboy hat, spurs, lantern and unique, authentic camel saddle for a foot stool! High top wooden table seats 4. Fully furnished kitchen. Cozy Jacuzzi bathtub in the bathroom (this a regular sized bathtub with Jacuzzi jets). Bedroom has custom bed décor on a high turquoise Mission bed with flat screen TV in bedroom. The bed is a beautiful and comfortable but sit high off the floor. Perfect place for romance, relaxation, and rejuvenation and is ideal for an extended visit for 2 but accommodates 3. Adjacent to Suite 4 & perfect for 2 couples or family to stay together.
Conveniently located for activities and festivals in Fredericksburg but also central to other Hill Country events, such as hiking, cycling, horse racing, car shows and more! This place is so amazing! Check in and out was sooooo easy. The cottage was decorated super cute and was very very comfortable. The location was perfect, it was only a short 3 minute drive to the main area of town. I highly recommend renting this place for your visit to the wine country.

Why they chose this property

My wife Leah and I have fallen in love with Fredericksburg and our Abby's Place! The orginal rock house was built in the 1880s and expanded in 1920s. This is part of a larger complex that was expanded in the 1990s on an acres. Lots of charm and comfort to start with and then we had such fun lovingly furnishing and decorating each of the 5 units with a different theme that seemed fitting. The whole complex has 5 bedrooms (2 kings and 3 queens) with 5 bathrooms and 5 separate living rooms, each with a sofa sleeper. Although this property is adjacent, you will your privacy and quiet. We have listings that allow you to stay in 1 suite or to rent several together for your group to enjoy time together. Look for our other listings! The whole complex sits on an acre with plenty of space to sit outside at night by the fire and gaze at the Texas stars!

What makes this property unique

Abby’s Place is conveniently located in town near the heart of the shopping but it sits on an entire acre of land with a windmill! We love sitting outside in the rocking chairs in the morning sipping coffee listening to the windmill and watching the bird. At night we love sitting outside and watching the stars. We are amazed at how many stars you can see in the sky even though you are in town. The trees provide shade during the day. Only 1 1/2 blocks off of Main Street on the east end of town. Short hop to great restaurants and shopping.
