Kitchen is very well equiped. House is very clean. Quiet environment with direct access for hikes and cycling. With my 1,93m I had to watch my head in several places. No bike storage inside.

The Cottage was spacious and cozy all at the same time. Loved the kitchen and the large table in the living area was great to host NYE with family also staying in the area. Easy access to wonderful walks straight out the door and a wonderful drive over the moors. Will definitely return and Adam was quick to respond and easy to communicate with. Don’t hesitate to book this delightful Cottage.

Just perfect...

We had an amazing christmas-time stay. The cottage was decorated for the season and we arrived to a warm house [thank you]. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and overall the cottage was decorated and furnished to a high standard. We loved the log burner and the owners had supplied ample kindle + logs. On visiting the local pub, we were made to feel very welcome. Perfectly positioned for some great rambling walks; the walk to the waterfalls was our favourite.

Weekend break for son's 40th

We were all, including Hamish & Penny (doggos) delighted with this lovely little cottage, which is in a beautiful part of the Yorkshire Dales. Everything we needed and more was provided to ensure a very comfortable stay. We can highly recommend a stay here. Adam was very responsive to messages. For October we had perfect weather for our Pennine walk (approx 15 mile) with a much needed stop at Settle. All in all a perfect weekend. Thank you.

Stainforth Cottage was beautiful, clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Beautiful and tranquil location at the edge of the homonymous little Dales village. Great last minute catch. We walked out into the little green in the morning and played cricket with the local kids and their Family. Italian Grandad, just like me, had moved to England fifty years ago or so. Later we went cold swimming and waterfall showering up to Catrigg Force. Exhilarating ! It was great fun and homely comfort at the lovely and characteristic Yorkshire Dales cottage. Luigi Ramon
