Quirky Cottage in The Heart Of The Yorkshire Dales. Great reviews. Book early.
Good cleanliness reviews.
Superbly positioned on the edge of the bustling market town of Hawes in Upper Wensleydale. This quirky cottage spans three floors offering compact yet cosy holiday accommodation. An abundance of features including Yorkshire Flagstone floors, exposed beams and decorative cast iron range have been retained in order to enhance the character of this delightful cottage. There is free, robust and unlimited wi-fi should you wish to remain connected during your holiday. Scores well on value for money and cleanliness time and again. Please note from April 2026, we have a nesting bird in the roof above the master bedroom. We are unable to move the nest by law until the fledglings have flown.

Had another great stay at this cottage, third time back here so that says something. Quirky but great, stairs may be an issue to elderly or less mobile. Excellent position in the town with parking right outside. Shops, cafes and pubs within 100 yards. Fantastic fish & chip shop just across the road. Local buses to railway station and local town stops within yards of the front door. Wensleydale creamery a 10 minute walk. Countryside is stunning.
Everything about the property was as it stated on the app. It's priced appropriately. Local pubs and chippy - excellent food. Didn't use the car once there - lots of walks from the door step.
Great location for touring the Yorkshire dales on a motorcycle

Lovely, unusual and quaint cottage in a beautiful area. Well equipped with everything we needed. Comfortable beds. Loved the stairs and rooms on different levels but might be difficult for some.
Shops, cafes and pubs right outside the front door.
Great stay in a lovely area.
Great location in the centre of Hawes. Lovely little cottage, comfortable rooms not huge but it is a quirky cottage. Be sure you can handle stairs! Everything you needed for a great stay. Chippie across the road, Cafe's & pubs 5 minute walk. Bus stops outside to train station at Garsdale and Leyburn for onward Bus to Blacksheep brewery. Dog friendly walks all around. Just a great place we had a lovely time.

The property is in the heart of Hawes, it does have a quirkiness to it, 2 nice bedrooms with comfy beds. Lovely sized bathroom. The kitchen is long and has everything you need for a homely stay.
The only down side of the kitchen is cupboard space for storing food. The cottage sleeps 4 but there is enough crockery for a dozen or more taking up to much cupboard space.
The cottage is just minutes from pubs which also sell food and welcome dogs, nice shops from outdoor to crafts.
There are some lovely walks from the doorstep.
Annette the host is lovely, she responds very quickly to all messages.
I would recommend the cottage and would definitely come back again
Great location . Enjoyed the local shops and pubs and restaurants
