Hit and miss

There are some good and some bad things with this property. We were 14 adults and four children on this trip and we generally enjoyed the property. Although near a road, it is quiet. Pros: there are seven bedrooms, all with bathrooms and showers. This saves a lot of time and hassle with a big group and was a huge bonus. Cons: the property has beds for 20 people but is underdimensioned in many cases. The fridge is far too small (I have a bigger one at home for me and my wife), as is the BBQ. It does not have a washing machine although advertised ("you won't have to pack extra clothes, because you'll also have a washing machine"). A few other niggling things bring down the ratings, such as house instructions only in Dutch and French, a TV with no channels (you have to use your own Prime, Netflix etc accounts; beware of regional restrictions) and a sauna you have to pay extra to use (wasn't mentioned).

Niet zoals verwacht

Toen we aankwamen, moesten we zelf de banken nog allemaal van de eettafel halen omdat het gepoetst was. Er waren onvoldoende drinkglazen voor iedereen. We waren met 18 personen en hadden maar 14 glazen. Onze tuin lag naast het andere huis met daarin de tuinstoelen slordig op elkaar gegooid en vuil zodat we ze niet konden gebruiken zonder ze eerst zelf af te kuisen. Het gras in de voortuin en de andere tuin was niet gemaaid en stond dus lang. De bovenverdieping was vrijwel oké behalve een toilet waar de spetters nog inkleefden, veluxramen waar geen verduisteringsgordijn meer aanwezig was, douches waar een minieme waterstraal uitkwam en een douche waar het water niet afliep met koud water. Na contact met de conciërge zijn de problemen met de douches dan opgelost. We hadden aan de achterzijde ook een terras dat helemaal niet onderhouden was en afgeschermd was met een muur , zodat we in een hokje opgesloten zaten. De septische put die daar zat gaf een enorme geur af zodat we daar ook niet konden zitten. De sauna die we bij gehuurd hadden was op slot en konden we niet gebruiken!!!!! Al bij al zijn er veel dingen die niet zichtbaar waren op de site. Je kwam ze pas een week voor aankomst te weten zodanig dat je niet meer kon annuleren. Zo een klein terrasje voor 20 personen is een gevangenis. Al bij al is de prijs veel te hoog voor dit huis. Onze buren naast ons, die ook een huis hadden van dezelfde eigenaar waren ook niet te spreken. Een parasol was ook niet voorradig.

modernes großes Haus

Das Haus liegt in einem kleinen Dorf mit sehr ruhiger Umgebung. Man hat drei Etagen, die untere ist Wohn- und Essbereich und die oberen beiden Etagen sind Schlafzimmer (jedes Schlafzimmer hat ein eigenes Badezimmer). Für einen Aufenthalt mit einer Gruppe für bis zu 20 Personen sehr gut geeignet.
