Wonderful view, clean upscale apartment, that comes with a lot of outside noise. The trade-off for being on a popular square is that there is a lot of evening activity. We expected some noise, but this was a bit excessive. We stayed for 6 nights, and on 4 of them there was very loud music from bars across the street. After the bars closed, the parties continued on the ramp to the water, right under our balcony. And on 2 mornings, the trash and recycling pickups began early 7:30-8, and were also very loud. This is not the fault of the property at all, but should be noted for people who are light sleepers. I always wear and travel with earplugs to sleep, and it was still an issue. In addition, there are no dark curtains in the mail bedroom, just opaque white shades, which block the view, but not the light. Bathroom is quite large, but shower stall quite small and old looking. Also, not enough hook for towels and personal items. The view from the balcony is great, the old mismatched furniture on the balcony is less so…not comfortable at all. The location makes it almost worth the price, but the owners need to spend a night there to see where improvements should be made.
