Five Star, Gold Awarded, Barn Conversion In Beautiful Norfolk Hamlet

Awarded Five Stars and a Gold Award every year since 2010, Brazenhall Barn is a luxury barn conversion with great facilities. The Barn sleeps 14 and the Lodge Sleeps 6 with the option of two temporary beds but there is space for dining both inside and out for 22 - The Barn can be hired with the Lodge for larger parties. The Barn has 7 bedrooms and the Lodge 3. Int the barn, there is an additional TV/Children's room. The whole property is surrounded by summer meadows which are yours to use during your stay. We offer a catering service for formal dinners or for food on arrival which can be waiting for you in fridge. There is free WiFi throughout, so keeping in touch and finding out what the local area has to offer couldn’t be easier. Indeed you can do some online shopping from the local supermarket (and yes, they deliver!) or book yourselves into one of the many local attractions.

We had a fantastic stay in Fakenham and the house was perfect! There of us were participating in The Holkham Half triathlon and the rest of the guests were spectators. The house was perfect for eating, relaxing, sleeping and recovering. Erica & Peter were very helpful leading up to the stay.

This property is 5 star luxury and we loved everything about it. The location is nice and peaceful but nothing is in walking distance - you do need a car. Would highly recommend

We had two wheelchair uses who found the property ideal in and outside. (Although shower access very tight).We were all very happy with facilities.Large dog friendly fully enclosed outside spaceWith barbecue was well used.Great property we highly recommend.Owner nearby should any issues arise.Car a necessity for local amenities.Excellent Gin.

Fabulous friends and family weekend

We all had a great stay at the Barns - beautiful accommodation worked really well for us. Everything is well thought through, great finish and comfortable accommodation. Would love to come back! And the gin isn't bad either.

Barn Beauty

We stayed in September with 6 couples for an anniversary . The barn was delightful - well equipped with a array of plastic glasses , all crockery and two kettles and toasters which really helped breakfast run smoothly ! The bedroom and en-suite arrangement suited perfectly and the large sofas , dining and outdoor seating was ideal. All in a beautiful location ! We really appreciated the archangel gin too ! Thank you we had a fantastic stay and would love to return

Family Fakenham barn get together

Fabulous facility to cater for 5 families including 4 children under 6yo and a dog. Great indoor and outdoor space, the former being important due to mixed weather and the latter for the children and dog to let off steam and be enclosed and safe. The location is ideal for exploring Norfolk. The kitchen was well equipped, with a huge range of glasses and cutlery. There are two dishwashers to save all the hard graft of washing up. However after a couple of washes it was apparent that neither cleaned the pots efficiently. It wasn’t until our last day that the issue was solved so we spent all week hand washing our dishes in what we all felt was a disproportionately small sink with a washing up bowl that was too big for it. The response from the management to try and resolve the issue was quick and Erica was caring and available for information before and during our stay. The bedrooms were a good size with lovely bedding and towels. It was so nice that everyone had their own bathroom. Three of our party felt that the beds were either too soft or the mattresses were in need of replacement. We did feel that a change of towels and extra toilet rolls would be standard for this quality and rental price. Overall we had a great time and loved the barn. It suited our needs and we would look to return. We did think that the general cleanliness and decor was in need of an upgrade. The listing does make clear that the barn has won many accolades and I can see why, but our general feeling was that the property has areas that are in need of a lift, particularly when you are paying top price.

Brilliant property and a perfect base for visiting the stunning surrounding areas.

The property was perfectly presented with an amazing welcome gift. The garden was perfect for our stay as we had five young children who loved playing in the huge garden. The location is brilliant with being near to Fakenham and close to lovely Norfolk beaches. The Gin Distillery across the road from the property was really good and the gin we purchased was some of the best we have ever had. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will 100% recommend the property to anyone wanting the visit Norfolk.

Fantastic amenities

The property is very clean, spacious and extremely well equipped. The views from the garden are stunning and the barn is very well situated to explore beautiful North Norfolk. The Archangel Gin Distillery tour was a real highlight. Overall Brazenhall Barn is great value for money and highly recommended.

Beautiful and immaculate property

We visited the property in September and were blown away with how clean and safe it felt- particularly given the current Covid times. Every detail was attended to, and we felt so safe during our stay, all thanks to Peter and his team. Throughout the booking process he was quick to respond and everything went so smoothly. I cannot recommend Brazenhall Barns highly enough. We all said how much we would love to come back, and hope to return soon. The grounds were stunning and the layout of the barn has been done in such a way that everyone has their own space along with a huge communal area. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

Great barn conversion

The layout of the property is great and particularly good for older persons who have difficulty ascending stairs. The large living area makes it convivial for larger parties. Holkham Hall and the beaches at Holkham and Wells are within 20 minutes drive and though the property is in the countryside, it is well located for various outdoor activities, including golf and walking.

The most amazing barn!

I spent a week here with my family and the barn didn’t disappoint! It was amazing and set in truly beautiful surroundings! There was plenty of room for my party of 11. Peter is a great host. He was really helpful when making the booking and also helped recommend a local takeaway during our stay. The barn is also ideally situated for exploring the coastline. We managed to see a fair bit and fell in love with Mundesley. It has such a great beach for kids. Ours loved the waves and spent hours bodyboarding! We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Brazenhall Barn and can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic stay!

We spent half term in the barn with two other families and had a great time. The weather was very stormy but it didn't spoil it. The barn was well equipped, particularly all the kitchen utensils, glasses, plates etc. We sampled a fair amount of the Archangel gin (distilled over the road), it was very nice! The dining table and seating area was huge, plenty of room for the 14 of us. Peter was so hospitable, quick to answer calls and emails and very kind throughout our stay. We can't wait to return.

Amazing venue and facilities

We rented Brazenhall Barn for a surprise 80th birthday party and couldn’t have been more happy with our choice as a venue to create family memories. The setting was beautiful and the barn was equipped with everything you could possibly need. A home away from home. We are already looking to book again next year. A big thank you to Erica and Peter.

Comfortable barn in Norfolk.

Very spacious barn,plenty of room for a large group and very comfortable. We were a family group celebrating birthdays and all really enjoyed the well equipped barn. Thoroughly recommend the gin tasting at the archangel distillery next door. Great fun and very informative!

Spacious, peaceful barns, perfect for a family gathering.

If you are looking for large accommodation with beautiful outside space and views to celebrate a family birthday or special occasion, you could do no better than booking Brazenhall barns. By far the most comfortable nights sleep we have all had in a holiday accommodation with lovely touches such as their own toiletries (which smelt amazing) and great tasting gin. Being all on one level was perfect for those in the party with limited mobility and meant no steps for the little ones to fall down too. Our group was 14 strong, aged 1-70 and we all had the most amazing stay, helped by the glorious Easter bank holiday weather. Peter and Erica were both helpful and informative and Erica very kindly provided lots of good family friendly places for us to visit beforehand. I would happily recommend Brazenhall barns and the party have all said they would love to return again!

Amazing Location - Amazing House

Our group of 12 stayed (and dog) and had the best time. There is so much to see in the area and some great restaurants too. We enjoyed the massive dining table and spent too much time sitting at it sipping wine. The view of the church from the garden in the evening sunlight was amazing. Norfolk is just the best place for our annual get together and we will definitely be back!

Outstanding property for a lovely anniversary celebration

A group of 13 of us had an amazing weekend at Brazenhall Barns. The house is all on one level with no steps - a great help for my uncle who finds it hard to do stairs. The bedrooms were so comfy I've even taken a note of the mattress make so I can get one at home! The kitchen was very well equiped and it was great to have such a huge dining table for us all to get around in the evenings. There was lots to see close by and there are so many gastro-pubs and restaurants all along the coast that we were spoilt for choice. We will DEFINITELY be back!
