We really enjoyed staying on the boat while we were in Amsterdam! It was a very cool experience and the space was gorgeous. There was plenty of room, and the inside of the boat was well laid out and had a modern finish. The location was fantastic, right in the centre of the city and easy to find, and Han came out to meet us as well to ensure we got there okay, despite it being late when we arrived. Han was a very attentive and lovely host, with clear instructions beforehand and on check in. He also let us stay during the day of check out so we could leave our bags and have a base while we explored on our last day. He also left us some beer and wine in the fridge when we checked in, which was a nice touch. The highlight of the stay was waking up, opening the curtains and looking across the water at eye level. Absolutely beautiful and would definitely stay again.

The Perfect Place To Stay

Fantastic location!

The houseboat was conveniently located with great access to all public transport. Han was helpful and very knowledgeable, and we had a great time on the houseboat! The stairs and ladder would be tough for very small children or anyone with mobility issues - my 4 and 6 year olds were delighted and had a wonderful time.

We loved our stay at Hans canal boathouse. Fantastic location and friendly helpful and generous host. The boat is really unique, very clean, well equipped and comfortable with a gorgeous view and lots to look at, boats going by. Great outdoor area. Han had complimentary beer, wine, juice and milk for us in the fridge and specially delivered some stroppewaffels. We highly recommend Hans boathouse and we would book it again. Bamboo boat stay in Amsterdam.

What a fun time, very unique stay in a boat. Lots of room for 3 of us and the deck was so awesome to sit and have a beverage after a day of sightseeing. Han was a great host and was very helpful with our stay and getting us around. Highly recommend.

Wow! What an amazing experience staying on a house boat in Amsterdam! The boat is beautiful inside and Han was an extremely good host. I highly recommend this opportunity.
