Enjoyed our stay safe in a classic London apartment with plenty of restaurants right out the door - very convenient when it pours rain at the dinner hour!
We had a very nice stay in this appartment. It is very well decorated, functional, well located and in a quiet street. Nice restaurant and pub very close by and close to public transport.
The indications from Hannah and her team was very helpfull and quick to answer. A big Thanks! to the team :)
We highly recommend this place!
9 Cosmo Place is a ten-star property: perfect location; beautiful, spacious, well-appointed space; Very thoughtful, welcoming, touches such as coffee, cookies, chips, sparkling water. The living room has a lively buzz from happy crowds on the pedestrian street, but two doors close off the bedroom, which is pin-drop quiet, regardless of the action outside. Great restaurants and parks surround this flat and you can walk or tube everywhere. We hope to stay there every time we return to London.
The location is marvelous and the apartment is easy to access. It's a quiet location We adjusted to the sounds the chirping birds.
The living room and kitchen is as shown, clean and tidy. The bedroom is tight and smaller than photographed. The bed's foam mattress is not comfortable.
The let down was the bathroom and entry way. Mold and missing tiles in the bathroom. Entry way was filthy, stained ragged carpeting throughout and it smelled as if a dead animal was behind a wall. It was a disappointing stay after flying so far and being tired.
Wonderful property in the heart of London's vibrant West End. Near the medical district, safe, quiet, easy access to public transport, and supremely walkable. Coffee, pubs, restaurants nearby. The property is a new listing, and with a few enhancements will become the PRIME spot for you stay in London:
* We were first directed to the wrong location to retrieve our keys, and Hannah was quick to respond via call and text and guide us to the property a short walk away.
* The flat is on the second floor of a somewhat narrow staircase (for those with limited mobility). Note too that the tub/shower is deep and narrow, requires a high step in.
* Linens were limited for 2 adults staying a week, but we asked and more towels and sticky bath mat were swiftly delivered to our door.
* Maintenance note: A few tweaks and small fixes would elevate the experience that much more! Contact me offline for details.
I spent two weeks in this Bloomsbury apartment. I loved the location -- easy walk to just about anywhere in central London, 5 minute walk to Curzon cinema, supermarket, and Lambs Conduit (lovely shops and restaurants). The kitchen is serviceable and made it possible for me to cook "at home" as much as I wanted. There's no dedicate "office" space -- the dining table is multi purpose eating/working as pictured with benches. The flat has a good amount of space for 1-2 people using the back bedroom only. The front room with pullout couch is not optimal for sleeping as there is lots of noise from the pubs below on the street. The back bedroom is very quiet. The place was clean, there were some treats in a basket upon arrival including milk/coffee, and Hannah was very responsive to any questions I had. In general, the flat could use some sprucing up and attention to detail -- paint is a bit dingy, trash container top doesn't work, window shades (especially in bathroom) aren't in great shape. Whatever laundry detergent is used on bed linens was so perfumed that it made my first night sleep challenging but did dissipate over time. At times the odor on the ground floor entryway was overpowering. Perhaps the restaurants store their garbage nearby the entryway?? But thank goodness the smell didn't reach apartment #2! No air conditioning in the unit and even though it wasn't hot while I was there I was grateful for the fans. With a little more attention this place could be top notch.
