Property was overbooked

After driving for 7 hours, arriving at the property, we struggle to contact the Host for the access/ key. After a lot of chase, the manager of holiday accommodations contacted the host and we were told our booking should have been cancelled. We could notice accommodation were occupied. WHERE DO I GO WITH KIDS AND OLD PEOPLE? NEVER WISH ANYONE TO EXPERIENCE IT.
