Excellent cottage

Great location and lovely cottage. Will definitely return. A couple of improvement suggestions - instructions for the TV would be helpful and despite the welcome info saying there were coffee pods, we didn’t find any.

We love Bolthole properties but target missed. Not ready on arrival. No parking. Couldn’t get regular channels.

A great week

This was our second stay. The location is fantastic and great to have garden access during the heatwave. Parking right outside also a plus and Sarah organised a pass with no issues. The house could do with a spring clean - we opened the shutters and found more than a dozen dead bees and the extractor in the en suite dumped a pile of dust on the loo! I think I mentioned the lack of a teapot in my previous review - a small point but makes a difference to dedicated tea drinkers. Loads to see and do in Stratford and easy access to the north Cotswolds. We had a lovely week

This was an excellent property well located with an easy walk into town, close to both the Church and river it was a great location. Facilities were as described and the house was clean and well cared for. We've had to dock a point or two due to the condition of the sofa. It has seen better days and as the main seat in the lounge was highly uncomfortable and triggered my back problem. Everything else was comfortable and as expected. We spent the week exploring the area and a visit to the falconry display at Warwick castle should not be missed. All in all a great stay.

Gorgeous place

Amazing place to stay. Spotlessly clean. Amazing location. Highly recommend. Slight issue with permit and parking due to miscommunication but did not distract from wonderful property.

A Great Stay

We were really pleased with our decision to stay at Trinity Cottage - the house was beautiful, comfortable, immaculately clean and very well located. We were also very impressed by the information provided by Bolthole ahead of arrival, which helped everything to go smoothly.

Lovely Cottage in Stratford Upon Avon

We have stayed several times at cottages in the Old Town area of Stratford Upon Avon This has been the nicest so far. The cottage is clean albeit that some areas could do with a little additional cleaning - crumbs, hairs etc in drawers and a very dirty/mouldy shower mat in the bathroom - but just to put a balance on this, we are nearing the end of the season and no doubt deeper cleans will happen soon. Excellent position for visits to the RSC approx 10 mins away and the town centre. The rear garden is good for sitting out and we enjoyed breaksast and evening meals there. The only difficulty was the parking - for which a permit is no longer available. The Council run car parks seem to be the cheapest and we used the one in Arden Street. Its about a 20 minute walk from the property and a 10 minute drive back. We would stay again but ideally for visits to the RSC, if you wanted to base yourself in Stratford Upon Avon to explore the surrounding area by car the parking situation might become a bit wearing. Overall, we would recommend the cottage. Thanks also to the staff at Bolthole for their assistance.

Short break with girlfriends

Lovely cottage, beautifully decorated and very clean and warm. Beds very comfortable. Great location within a short walk to the centre of town. Kitchen was fantastic and well-equipped. Only slight negative was the size of the dining table in the kitchen - it's tiny! There is space to accommodate a much bigger table which would make things more comfortable when having a meal.

Lovely cottage - very convenient location

We had a very happy stay at Trinity Cottage. It has 3 lovely bedrooms, a light and airy kitchen diner and nice garden to sit out in. It is very convenient for all the restaurants and a short and easy walk to Trinity Church (Shakespeare's burial place) and the River. Our only issue was with the arrangements for the parking permit which are unsatisfactory. Despite notifying the relevant person over a week before our arrival - we still received a parking ticket. Although it was sorted out eventually, it caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience and put a bit of a dampener on our break.

Stylish accommodation within walking distance of all that Stratford has to offer

Stylish cottage, very comfortable and so close to town. Quiet location. Parking was easy but full rubbish sacks left on the patio on arrival + dirty wood-burner compromised the experience somewhat.

Lovely property

We had a really lovely stay, the only issues we had was a slight problem with the parking but that got sorted and the toilet seats were wobbly!

Perfect Location

Lovely cottage in the perfect location for the sights of Stratford and the surrounding area. On-street parking provided so you could leave the car and explore the town on foot as everything was within easy walking distance. The cottage was in the 'old town' area of Stratford, so very quiet enabling a good sleep. The property was very well kept and lovely and warm and welcoming. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it for a stay.

Fabulous stay!

The cottage is located in a quiet street very close to Trinity Church where Shakespeare is buried. Everything was within easy walking distance. The cottage itself is bright and airy. It's very comfortable and clean and the beds are very comfortable too. The kitchen was well equipped and bright opening onto the garden. The garden is well kept with chairs and a table for outside dining. All in all we had a great time and would definitely recommend it

A Shakespearean Bolthole

Our short stay in Stratford was memorable for many reasons including Trinity Cottage. Its location close to the town centre made sightseeing, eating and drinking very easy. The cottage itself is well maintained, comfortable and clean. Only one small gripe - we couldn’t find a teapot!

Lovely Stay

Super location. Beautiful cottage. Well maintained. Lovely decor. Easy to walk into town. Parking wasn’t a problem. Only criticism is the mattresses aren’t that comfortable in both bedrooms but otherwise we really enjoyed our stay. Definitely recommend! Thanks again.

Friends weekend

Cottage is absolutely beautiful and worked perfectly for 3 ladies - even single room is a good size. Excellent well equipped kitchen if you want to cook although we went out as lots of pubs restaurants within walking distance. In fact it was in a great location where you could walk quickly and easily to centre of Stratford the river and theatre. Didn’t have or need a car. Communication with Sarah was excellent and she was quick to answer any questions. Cannot recommend this property enough .

Great base for exploring

Trinity Cottage is in a great position to explore Stratford upon Avon. Despite being straight off the street it’s deceptively large. It could perhaps do with a couple more comfy chairs in the snug / living area. The kitchen is a good size - although the dining table is very small and if you were a group of 4-5 you’d struggle to all eat around it. The garden is a great asset. All bedrooms were clean and functional. However the lack of curtains is a let down as the sun comes streaming through the blinds. The cottage comes equipped with WiFi (although the wrong password was in all the information booklets so we had to get it from the router), a nespresso pod machine. We brought pods to use but it wouldn’t work - as it turns out it’s one of the newer nespresso machines which takes very specific pods - this would have been good to have known prior to arriving or having pods left for us to use. The Sonos speaker was also missing.

Excellent location and modern decor

I would stay here again. The kitchen was well fitted with equipment and spacious, leading to a lovely garden with patio table. The decor is high end, perfect and not too busy and not overcrowded with furniture, just right. We have stayed the other side of the river before and actually found this old town location preferable and more convenient for walking to Sainsbury or Tesco or M&S for groceries and also for dinners out. Easy walk to Holy Trinity Church for services and we also witnessed a wedding. Lounge is nice with a big TV and shutters on the windows. (It is the only TV in the cottage)

Very nice unit. Parking permit required 7 days notice on registration of vehicle; I was not in-country then and didn’t have registration on rental car so I didn’t receive this benefit. Question asked clarifying check-out procedure was never answered. Requirement to strip beds and bag bed linen was a bit much given we paid a substantial cleaning fee. No rubbish container in outside area. Found recycle container but unmarked.

A 70th birthday getaway

Ive never been to Stratford-Upon-Avon but it’s always been on our list of places to visit and so as it was my wife’s mums 70th birthday coming up it was decided that this was our destination. We was travelling as a group, my wife and myself, my brother in law and of course the birthday girl herself. Trinity Cottage was an absolute gem of a place to stay for a few days. Extremely well laid out with all you need to live, eat and cook, very well decorated and immaculately clean with a garden to use if needed (rained all the time we was here so couldn’t use) The beds were comfy, the WiFi strong and the location perfect for us, I definitely would recommend this cottage and we have said we will return and have gave out details to our friends to use too. Only a very minuscule note, the manuals we needed for the induction hob (none of us had one so needed a tutorial) and wasn’t in the drawer as per welcome book but in a cupboard in the kitchen, don’t worry there’s all manufacturers manuals in a box but not in the place stated. Not a gripe at all, just a pointer to the next visitor. In conclusion, we loved this place, felt homely, comfortable in a cottage of age and character yet full of the technology required today in a location that was perfect for us. Thank you
