Location was perfect. Definitely hot during the day as the fans/AC didn’t work well; but we didn’t spend much time inside during the day anyway. Super cute decor and the bunks beds and playroom were perfect for my 7 year old twins!

The place was cute and it was perfect for what we needed. It was so hot though that it was fairly miserable. The back mud room in the house stinks of dog urine. The back yard is also an odd situation. Instead of it being all mowed, there is just weird mowed walking paths through the back and there is poop basically everywhere ranging from rabbit - dog. Which obviously can't help the wildlife part of that, but you'd think it would have been managed and kept better. Overall host was easy to chat with and the house worked ok for our short stay.

Thank you for letting us know about your experience. We are sorry to hear your experience was not perfect. We had not heard there was any issue with the room smelling. We appreciate you letting us know so we can remedy the issue immediately. We wish we would have known you were having issues with the house temperature so that we could have let you know about the other air conditioning options available. We will ensure that is not an issue in the future. For the backyard, we are following best practices for rewilding the backyard so that native plants and grasses grow there as that is more environmentally friendly. It sounds as though this may be bringing in wildlife that are leaving excrement. We have also heard recent reports about black bears in the area in addition to the deer and rabbits that are there. We will reevaluate this rewilding process if it is detracting from renters’ experiences. Thank you for sharing these issues so that we can address them. We value providing a wonderful experience for our guests and your input will help us do that.

Cozy spot

This place was perfect for our family of 6 while we visited for a wedding. The location was perfect and we especially enjoyed the family of deer in the back yard!

Great little house

The property was cute, quirky, miss matched furniture and beach house decor. Came into a messy house but property owner was very responsive and fixes the issues right away. Overall we enjoyed our stay. It was the PERFECT location.

Lovely Lake House

The location between the lake and town was perfect. The house itself was comfortable, and my 16 month old grandson loved the chalk walls in the back sunroom. The internet was out while we were there, so we couldn't watch tv, which was actually a plus because we visited in the quiet evenings. We had a great family get-together.

Great Experience!

We came to Polson to enjoy the water and we were able to walk to it from our VROB. The VROB was clean and comfy! Thank you for providing us with a grill to use! That was a great plus! We will be returning!

Family Event

The house is really close to the water. We seen 2 bucks in the yard while we were there. The house was clean and ready when we arrived. We spend most our time up at Blue Bay so we only slept at the house but it was quiet.

The house and location were perfect!

The house was clean and had all the major necessities for a kid friendly lake property. The sandbox and playroom were perfect for our almost 2 year old son! There was so much going on in Polson over the weekend and it was walking distance to all the events. The BBQ place 1.5 blocks down was the best BBQ we've had in the Midwest! Cannot wait for our next trip to Polson, we will definitely book a stay at the Lake House again!

2nd stay

Nice place to kick it for the weekend. Close to everything in downtown Polson so put your walking shoes on. One thing to note is on really hot weekends like we had the one small air conditioner does not keep up and will only cool the living room areas.

Lakeside

It was a great location if you want to be near the lake. The only draw back was that it didn't have air conditioning and at night it was hard to sleep because the house was hot. The night we got there, parking was kind of a pain. There were several other cars parked in front of the house and made it difficult to get our stuff into the house. Overall we had a great time and enjoyed the lake.

The house was like 95 degrees the entire time. No AC and the fans did not cool anything down. There was a smell, uneven flooring and walks, and nothing was really comfortable. We phoned the property manager however it just went voice mail stating that they were out of town for August 24-26, however we checked in after that date. The short walk to the beach was a 20 foot drop. We left after the first miserable night and incurred additional cost for hotels that we could sleep in and not be cooked.

Amazing!

This property is a great place to stay! Perfect location! Great communication with the owner. Plenty of linens. We used to own an AirBNB and here are some suggestions we thought we would share with you. Changing out the double bed for a queen bed. Put blackout shades and/or curtains in the bedrooms. Front and backyard would be great places to hang out with plenty of room, keeping the lawns landscaped and mowed while including some lawn games, seating, and firepit would be a big bonus. Any type of laundry washer would be helpful to have with some hang drying lines outside, this can be an affordable endeavor if done right. Finally, including a Netflix account for the TV. Thank you so much for our stay we look forward to coming back!

Thank you for staying and for your comments. We took them to heart and installed a washer and dryer. We also had WiFi put in and the smart TV with accessible accounts. We have also put outside seating as well as a horseshoe pit for people to use. For the rooms, we put in blackout shades in the second bedroom so now all bedrooms have them. Thank you again!

Great communication with the property owner. The house was clean and well kept. It had the amenities and rom we needed. Location was a close walk to the lake and swimming dock as well as boat rentals. Restaurants and coffee shops were also within 2 blocks. Great place and hope to stay there in the future! Thank you!!!

Great location by the lake with all the conveniences of home

I loved the location of this house in a quiet neighborhood that is walking/biking distance to the lakefront, as well as downtown. The house was roomier than I expected, with a large dining room, nice backyard (unfenced), and a little playroom in the back laundry room. We would definitely plan a return trip here.
