Tucked away in secluded woodland are two cosy, beautifully crafted, glamping cabins (This listing is for one of the two cabins - Oak Cabin). Expect all the creature comfort’s you could possibly need with the added benefit of fantastic woodland surroundings and eco credentials. Step out of the grid, away from the hustle & bustle and let your worries drift away within the sway of the trees.
Each cabin easily sleeps 2 but can accommodate an extra 2 children sleeping on a sofa bed.
The space Open plan cabin featuring an amazing view, comfy double bed, lounge area with sofa bed, wood burner, mini kitchenette, including 2 gas hobs, terracotta fridge pot (similar to a traditional Zeer pot) & all glassware, cutlery etc, mini dining area for two people plus generous outdoor decking / terrace area and fire pit, hanging tripod bbq area.
The shower room and separate toilet area is shared with one other cabin and is 20 metres away. The toilet is a compost toilet, looks and works in a similar way to a normal toilet, except you sprinkle sawdust down it. Each cabin is 40 metres away from the other with the toilet / shower cabins set between. You are not on top of each other in any way. Each cabin feels very private.
We provide 1 hand towel & 1 bath towel per booked guest and eco shampoo, conditioner & shower gel are provided in the shower room.
Guest access Guests have access to a fabulous woodland area to explore with a rustic & retro play area including rope swing, climbing netting and swing ball. We've also mapped out a beautiful walk to 2 village pubs in Barford village (an hour long walk) or just down to the Avon river for a picnic (20-30 minutes).
Other things to note FIREWOOD - We provide enough firewood for one indoor and one outdoor fire to get you started but if you require more firewood it's £10 per 36L bucket (they are a large bucket).
WOODBURNER FIREGUARD - We have a fireguard available however it is only provided if requested prior to your stay. It takes up a bit of room but if you have young children we would recommend it.
TRAVEL COT - We have a travel cot available for hire at £10. This comes with a good quality mattress and sheet only. Please bring your infants own familar bedding if requested.
DOGS - We allow one big dog or two small dogs. The cabins aren't big enough for two big dogs. We provide one water & one feeding bowl and a few doggie treats. Dogs are an additional fee to cover additional cleaning.
WIFI - There is NO wifi available on site but most mobile networks get good 4G reception.
USB ELECTRIC - There is only solar powered electric lights and a usb charging plug for charging phones.

Lovely place where everything is thought out.
The cabin has everything you need and the shower facilities are great.
We had a couple of lovely relaxing evenings around the fire
Very secluded spot to relax and unwind, great base to explore the beautiful and historic town of Warwick. Really cosy and comfortable cabin in the woods with all you could need for a peaceful few nights. Good communication with Anneli (the host), would definitely recommend to others.
Was such a nice part of the woodlands to explore with lovely countryside views. The cabin was clean and cosy and had everything we needed, lovely touches too for example the hanging candle lanterns and indoor fire made it super cosy
Absolutely lovely cabin, great if you want a romantic time away it was very nice to cook old school for a lot of things and very reconnecting with nature. We had a lovely barbecue and there was room for some outdoor games. Log fire inside is so cosy at night I also love the lights in the cabin especially by the kitchen table. It's not far from town centre and would definitely stay again.
Tucked away gem, so calm and peaceful. Just you and your throughts starring into.the campfire. Hosts are very friendly and do not bother you once checked in. The cabins are lovely and the bed so.comfy. planning another trip.
My Partner, Daughter and I absolutely loved this quaint shepherds hut, deep in the woods to be one with nature again, days following up to our stay the owners got in touch with us to just let us know anything that we needed to before the stay, the hut was equipped with everything that you’d need. Super cozy and comfy and shower was amazing. Will be definitely be coming back again to stay longer
A beautifully made cabin on a great site. The woodland is well thought out with plenty of privacy, even with two of the cabins sharing shower, loo and washing up facilities. The cabin itself had everything you could need and was clean and comfortable.
The hosts were friendly and very quick to reply to questions both in advance of and during our stay.
We had a great trip to Stratford and to Warwick Castle with plenty of time to relax and enjoy the woods, particularly the fire pit / bbq and lots of games of hide and seek!

The cabin & view were lovely despite the lights not working on the 2nd night due it being cloudy that day!
The plan was to have a couple of nights off grid which was really difficult due to the 24/7 traffic noise.
Also, the walking paths to Barford shown in the map are non existent & impassable
