The Lily Pad is a contemporary, spacious, ground floor apartment nestled on the banks of the beautiful River Avon, complete with its own private decking area and mooring. Thoughtfully developed and designed to accommodate guests in luxurious style, the property offers modern living in picturesque surroundings, providing the perfect escape for discerning couples.

Large bi-fold doors open the apartment onto the decking area, creating a sublime space for indoor/outdoor living. Wake to the sound of birdsong and spend the morning watching the river boats lazily go by. Escape into the idyllic English countryside along one of the many rambling trails or sample the local cuisine in traditional pubs or the exclusive riverside restaurant, all on your doorstep. Guests are welcome to bring canoes or small boats to explore the many beautiful villages along the river, or enjoy a spot of fishing from the private mooring.

The Lily Pad is only a 7 mile drive away from Stratford-upon-Avon, with a bustling night life and a wealth of bistro pubs, restaurants and clubs, the birthplace of Shakespeare offers everything you could want for the perfect night out, as you like it. Take in some culture at the world famous Royal Shakespeare Theatre (RSC) before indulging in the best in fine dining, then head back to your ‘home away from home’. Located in the lovely village of Bidford on Avon, which dates back to Roman times and has a wealth of history and attractions both locally and in the surrounding area. The visitors' book indicates that lots of people return to this property again and again and you can see why. It is at an idyllic location on the River Avon and we spent a happy day just sitting and watching the world and the wildlife (lucky enough to see a kingfisher) go by which was very peaceful. The property is very well equipped. It is next door to a pub and a restaurant and opposite various takeaways and is in a good location for lots of nearby towns to visit. We will aim to return at a different time of the year.

Comfy, clean, modern and relaxing apartment with everything you need and great views across the Big Meadow - as well as direct access to the river from the outdoor area. We would most definitely go again if we were planning to visit the area again.

Our stay was wonderful. Our hosts Victoria and Richard were warm and gracious. A bottle of Prosecco was waiting in the frig which was very much appreciated on our arrival.The pictures on the site are exactly as we found it, it was so clean! We were able to explore neighboring towns in the area by car.It was a very relaxing lovely stay. Thank you-

‘Does what it says on the tin’.Peaceful, high quality residence in a wonderful position by the River Avon.The Bridge and Balti Hot are quality restaurants and no more than 100 yards away!!Plenty to visit around Bidford but Stratford and Broadway were the highlights for us.

Beautifully clean and well equipped for our 10 day stay. A warm welcome from Richard when we arrived and a bottle of fizz in the fridge to get us set up for the holiday . Lily Pad is very well situated for exploring the area and the river frontage always has something going on to while away an hour or two. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore the wealth of old houses and castles in the vicinity or to ride on the heritage railway from Broadway to Cheltenham. A most enjoyable stay and one we shall remember fondly for a long time. Thanks Richard and Vicky.

The property was easy to find, and we were met straight away by the friendly, welcoming host who showed us round. We had a lovely 3 nights here - the property is lovely to relax in and is wonderfully located to visit a whole host of tourist attractions. The village has shops and highly recommend the Bridge restaurant. A really lovely break, and a pleasure to recommend this lovely property.

Absolutely perfect! Spotlessly clean and everything you could possibly need to hand. It was wonderful to sit out on the deckings and feed the ducks and swans. Plenty of outdoor seating with comfy cushions. Richard was a wonderful host, though sadly we didn't get to meet Victoria during our stay, we did chat on the phone and she was incredibly helpful. Couldn't have wished for a better spot for my birthday weekend and the bottle of fizz was also much appreciated.
