Gite des Roses - 30mins Puy du Fou
Gite des Roses is a charming family cottage on the Deux-Sèvres & Vendée border in western France and only 30 minutes drive from Puy du Fou.
Recently refurbished in 2022, it has 2 bedrooms for 4 guests - a large king and a twin. There is a third double bedroom for two people, available upon request. The family bathroom is spacious and has both a walk-in shower and bath.
The large sitting and dining room has a flat screen TV with both British & French satellite channels and the kitchen is fully-equipped with a breakfast bar, electric oven, fridge/freezer and dishwasher.
There is also a boot room/utility room with washing machine, downstairs toilet and space for any canine companions. We welcome up to 2 large-medium sized dogs and 3 small dogs and there is a dog-friendly, fully enclosed garden with its own boules pitch.
Only 30 minutes from Puy du Fou and an hour from Futuroscope in Poitiers and the sandy beaches of La Tranche-sur-Mer on the west coast. A 75 minutes drive from Nantes, Poitiers or La Rochelle airports and 3.5-4 hours from the ferry ports of St Malo & Caen.

Why they chose this property
Nestled in a semi-rural location, south of Cerizay and north of Moncoutant in western France, Gite des Roses has the perfect combination of being a rural retreat but with a good selection of local amenities not more than 10 minute drive away.
To experience the theme parks and the beautiful beaches, as well as all the other amazing activities the region has to offer, having a car is advisable. Private off-road parking for two cars is directly outside the gîte.
If you like to cycle, the renowned La Voie Verte (an extensive car-free cycle route) is just on the doorstep and is great for dog walks too!
Gite des Roses is a super holiday home, perfectly situated in a region renowned for its warm, sunny micro-climate.
