Great Cottage in Heart of Cotswolds

We loved staying at Peach Cottage. It was ideally located for walking in the Cotswolds. The cottage was comfortable and any questions we had were answered quickly. We really loved the cottage and look forward to returning in the near future.

Full of Cotswold charm

A beautiful cottage with a lovely garden and all the facilities you will need, spotless and well maintained. The area is postcard Cotswolds and there are lovely dog walks starting meters from the door (not to mention the pudding company shop nearby). We as a family will definitely be returning to Peach cottage and I will most certainly be recommending to others. My compliments to the owner/ managers.

Peach cottage

My partner and I, our two children and my parents stayed here at the beautiful Peach cottage. It had everything we needed for our stay and is in a lovely village ideal location with a pub and play park up the road, excellent for exploring other parts of the Cotswolds as it’s not too far from tourist spots and lesser known pretty villages. We were out everyday but it was great to come back to a well equipped kitchen with everything needed to prepare a meal, play games, sit in the garden or in the cosy snug and lounge. Beds were really comfortable, adequate bathrooms for our needs. Easy and stress free booking, lots of information provided before arriving and in the welcome pack.

Beautiful cottage in a tranquile Cotswolds village

We loved the cottage, good proportions and beautiful secluded garden with apple trees. It was exactly as described, with good quality furniture and fully equipped to cook and enjoy meals. Highly recommended!

Lovely little cottage

Great location as we were coming from various directions. The cottage is very well equipped and very cosy and a great outdoor space to enjoy. A small problem with two showers being on at the same time. I did mention it to the cleaner so she was going to feed this back.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your recent stay at Peach Cottage. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your visit. We are sorry to learn of the issues you experienced with the showers. We have since been informed that there was reduced water pressure in the village during your stay due to maintenance work being carried out by Thames Water. We very much appreciate your understanding and hope to welcome you back to the Cotswolds again soon.

A Charming Cottage Well Located

We stayed for a second time at Peach Cottage in Poulton in April 2026.The cottage has a small garden that enjoys sunlight throughout the afternoon. The cottage combines contemporary charm with comfort. It is well located to explore the Cotswolds and surrounding areas. The stairs might be too challenging for elderly visitors. Otherwise we have no criticisms and plan to return.

Peach Cottage

Lovely cottage. Very comfortable and exceedingly comfortable beds. Kitchen was great as it was very well provisioned with cutlery, crockery, kitchen utensils etc. Torches in the bedrooms was a nice, thoughtful touch. Good outside space with seating provision. Would definitely book to stay here again.

Home from home.

Lovely “home from home” for a family get together. The cottage marries the old and new perfectly and provided a lovely base for us to explore the surrounding countryside. The slight plumbing issue discovered on arrival was dealt with quickly and efficiently. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Peach Cottage 3 night break

Perfect cottage for our requirements for mixed age group 14-79. Having at least one twin room great and second living room ‘snug’ worked well as study area for revising teenager. Booking process very clear and efficient and welcome guide and check in process all worked seamlessly. Arranged 2pm check in which very helpful with different party members arriving from different areas of the country.

A little Gem.

Have stayed in many cottages in the Cotswolds and this is a gem. Great location. Very clean. Comfortable beds and good bedding. Everything we needed for a family and dog. Good kitchen equipment. Lovely peaceful sunny garden. Plenty of outside furniture. Couldn’t fault it. Lovely stay. Thankyou.

Peach cottage was a perfect place for RIAT 2024

Peach cottage was ideal for our family stay in the Cotswolds. Spotless everywhere. Parking is on the street which is the only awkward part due to carrying items in & from the cars. However the kitchen was well equipped with cutlery, crockery & cooking equipment. Plenty of seating inside & out. Back garden is lovely & quiet. Rooms white, neat, spacious & welcoming & the bathroom facilities more than adequate.

Relaxing environment

Nice cottage with all comforts; kitchen well stocked with crockey and appliances. Walls are thin and noises propagate a lot. Found two small cockcroches on the ground floor. A couple more rooms of toilet papers would have been useful.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback on your recent stay at Peach Cottage. It would have been woodlice that you have seen and not small cockroaches, Woodlice are common in the country and harmless. The house is professionally cleaned at every changeover. Peach Cottage is an old cottage and unable to add insulation to the walls. Two toilet rolls are supplied in each bathroom which we feel is acceptable in a self-catering short tram holiday let. Thank you again for your feedback and we hope to see you in the Cotswolds again soon.

A lovely cottage for a relaxed New Year break

For a cold new year, Peach Cottage was a welcoming, comfy and warm place for us to spend the week. The cottage had everything we needed for when we ate in. Having Fire sticks on each TV meant we could also log into our streaming services. Whilst the mobile coverage in the village was poor, the wifi in the cottage was great. The only comment we would make was that the duvet in the main bedroom was for a double bed size smaller than the actual bed. Peach Cottage is in a lovely village that had lots of great walks nearby. It was a shame that the Village pub was closed for the week and if it had been open we couldn't have taken our dog in, but that's not the cottage's fault - we found plenty of other pubs nearby that were open and did allow dogs.

Brilliant

The access to the cottage (grey metal gate) is difficult to find during night hours caused of the missing streetlights in Poulton. You need to download and use the what3words app to find the location. It would be very helpful to consider that in the description of the location.

My review

Overall a sweet cottage. Well equipped kitchen. Dining table for 6 a bit small. Just felt a few things were a bit skimped: small bath towels, lack of pillows, only just enough wine and champagne glasses . Outside Mark up the waste bins so it’s easier to know what to put where. Despite requesting cottage would be warm for our arrival it was cold. My overall sense was that it was overpriced for what it was.
Response from VrboOwner on 3 Jan, 2024
Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback on your recent stay at Peach Cottage. Peach Cottage sleeps up to 6 guests and is equipped to cater for 6 guests. There is a notice and instructions on the pin board and in the welcome guide regarding recycling. Sorry, you found the cottage cold on your arrival. Due to the temperature drop, Peach Cottage takes a little longer to warm up and the owners have taken your feedback on board and will put the heating on earlier for future guests. Thank you again for your feedback and we hope to see you in the Cotswolds again.

A fabulous cottage nestled in a beautiful Cotswold village

We had a wonderful stay at Peach Cottage. It was beautifully clean and had everything you could possibly need for a stay, a real home from home. As a family group of six, we found there was plenty of space for everyone and the garden area was perfect for the warm weather we had. It’s in an ideal location to head off and explore the area but also a wonderfully peaceful haven to just escape and relax.
