Beautiful villa, great location

Genorously sized villa with great outside space/pool area with stunning views over the sea to Stromboli. The hosts were very warm and welcoming which made for a stress free stay. You need a car to explore the local area with the property being a short drive of a few minuites to the charming local town of Zambrone, a 5 minuite drive to the local beach and around 10 minutes to Tropea. The villa is rustic and fairly basic yet perfectly comfortable with the outside space more than making up for this. All in all would highly recommend!

We had such a wonderful stay at Luisa & Riccardo’s villa. It’s incredibly spacious, with so many inviting areas to relax and spend time together as a group. The kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped – we cooked dinner every night for a group of six and had absolutely everything we needed, from utensils and cutlery to not just one but two large fridges, which made storing food and drinks so easy.The villa also offers two convenient parking spaces, which is perfect if you’re traveling with more than one car. We especially appreciated the sense of space – we were three couples, and it never felt crowded. Everyone had their own room to unwind, yet we could also come together comfortably in the shared spaces.And the views are simply breathtaking – the sunsets were incredible and became a highlight of our stay. Sitting outside and watching the sky change colors was the perfect way to end each day.Thank you again both!!

Our stay at Ricardo’s house was nothing short of amazing! The house is a true gem – a place full of charm and character that captivates you from the very first moment and simply doesn’t let go. The view over the sea is breathtaking, and the sunsets are like something out of a dream – every evening felt like a moment from a postcard.Ricardo is an exceptional host – warm, thoughtful, and always available when needed. You can feel the love and care he has put into creating this beautiful retreat. As a family, we felt completely comfortable and welcomed throughout our stay.The surrounding area, with Zambrone, Tropea, and their stunning beaches, offers everything you could wish for – crystal-clear water, authentic local cuisine, charming towns, and great opportunities for day trips and adventures.We were so impressed that we immediately booked again for next year. At the arrival the pool was dirty. Host reacted and cleaned water and started circulation. Making the reservation, we were not informed that the forth bedroom is in separate building. The separate building has mold on the picture above your bed headrest. Smell of humidity was omnipresent. We did not not use the 4th bedroom. Ensuite bathrooms to every bedroom in main building is very comfortable. Unfortunately one can smell sewage in every bathroom. Before booking the villa I read the opinions on VRBO portal. 10/10. They were absolately misleading. Incorrect address is listed on the site. The house has to be taken care of and needs maintanance Even small things: replace broken tiles, paint rusted radiators, change shower head, clean the surroundings etc.

There are many things I could say about this guest, but I'm just going to stick to the basic facts and to the overall experience. In order: yes, the pool was sandy the first day because of a rainstorm the previous day which carried sand. The guest is right,yet the problem was solved in 5 hours. Second, the second room being in a separate unit is accurately reported in the description: the house is divided in one main house with three bedrooms (6 guests total) and one separate queensize in a detached unit, which is still in within the perimeter of the same villa. the way this is being described it makes it look like they had to drive to another unit when in reality the second unit is located downstairs from the main house. Third and final remark: for the wole duration of their stay there was a person on the premisis which solved their initial problem and was there at their complete disposal. the pool problem occured on the first day, for the remaining two weeks there wasn't a single complaint, but the last day I got a call from customer service requesting a 25% refund. this is the first negative review we get over a four year period of immaculate service record, unfortunately the same cannot be said of our guests' ratings.

Séjour absolument parfait !Les hôtes étaient très attentifs et réactifs à nos besoins.La villa est très grande et très bien équipée: cuisine, salles de bain, chambre, salons de jardins, parasols, ustensiles...rien ne manque. Elle est très bien agencée à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur, elle a vraiment été bien pensée. De nombreux espaces extérieurs sont aménagés avec toujours une vue incroyable sur la mer, l'horizon et le Stromboli. Vraiment exceptionnelle cette vue !!!Il y a aussi deux places de parking privées et l'arrivée est très accessible malgré la hauteur de la villa.Enfin la piscine est très grande et originale.Ce fût un séjour merveilleux pour nous, au calme, avec une vue imprenable sur le Stromboli et très proche de Tropea. Nous remercions Luisa et Riccardo pour leur gentillesse et leur disponibilité et nous recommandons vivement ce logement à ceux qui souhaiteraient découvrir la Calabre.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt bei Riccardo und seiner Mutter Luisa sehr genossen. Wir wurden von Luisa herzlich empfangen und mit kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten (Wasser, Obst, Amaro) versorgt. Das Familienanwesen bietet einen sensationellen Ausblick auf den Stromboli. Jeder Sonnenuntergang ist ein Genuss. Der Pool ist das absolute Highlight. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub und können es jederzeit weiter empfehlen.

Splendido panorama/villa familiare funzionale

La villa è molto funzionale e il panorama è mozzafiato. Nelle vicinanze spiagge meravigliose (Michelino/paradiso sub/marinella etc.). Location perfetta per approfittare del mare, delle uscite serali su Tropea/Pizzo etc. Calma e stile, una bella piscina con vista Tropea e Stromboli, la villa ci ha regalato momenti indimenticabili in famiglia. Esperienza da rifare!
