We loved our stay in the Wengen apartment!! It was clean and had everything we needed and more. The washer/dryer was convenient as well. The location was perfect, situated near all the restaurants and shopping and the views were incredible. The check in and check out was easy and communication was top notch. We will definately be back!!
The apartment was in a great location in Wengen, but it was loud at times. We slept with the windows completely open because no a/c and we could hear people on the streets talking at night. Also, there is what appeared to be an abandoned hotel next to the property that seems to be inhabited by lots of tweeting birds. My kids slept downstairs and did not hear either. Other than that it was a peaceful and relaxing stay with room for a family of 4 to spread out.

Thank you for staying with us and for your 5-star review. We are very pleased that you enjoyed the apartment, its central location, and the space it offered your family.
As is typical in Wengen, the apartment does not have air conditioning, and guests can instead enjoy the fresh mountain air through the open windows. As the apartment is centrally located in our small village, occasional conversations from the street may sometimes be heard.
We would also like to clarify that the neighbouring building is occupied, not abandoned. The birds you heard most likely live in the beautiful large trees surrounding it, our cheerful feathered neighbours who provide a natural Alpine wake-up call from time to time!
We are very pleased that, overall, you found your stay peaceful and relaxing, and we hope you left Wengen with many wonderful memories.
This was a great rental for our needs. The views are amazing and having the outdoor space upstairs and downstairs was a pleasure. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and the washer dryer was a nice bonus. The location is great. It requires walking about 5-10 minutes from the train with baggage and it is up several staircases in the building, but if that is not a hindrance then this rental is definitely worth it.

Great apartment for two couples
Everything! Two lovely bedrooms with and two bathrooms are so nice for two couples. All is new, modern and clean.
Gorgeous views from both the terrace and small balcony in the upstairs bedroom.
Not too far from the train station and only a bit uphill, passing by the main street in the way up to pick up provisions.
Also very much appreciated that we were able to access the apartment a few hours early.
I really cannot think of anything we needed that was not provided.
We found the fondue pot so were even able to have a fondue.
And also found the patio umbrellas on the day that we decided to relax and enjoy the view in the sunny terrace.
The apartment has everything one could need, although no coffee was provided and we didn't know to buy ahead. The beds were super comfortable and once the weather cleared, the views were spectacular. Proximity to excellent restaurants, even one with take out pizza when we were under the weather. There are 48 steps up to the apartment and it is on 2 levels, something I did not realize from the listing. Wenge is a compact village so grocery, bakery, and train station are all less than 10 minutes away. Check in and out were seamless. My biggest complaint is how pricing and billing is done. Wengen Apartments say their prices are all in Swiss Francs, yet they send you a bill in Euro. They charged me more than what they said they would, and when I questioned it they blamed the difference on exchange rate and my bank.
I could not have been more pleased with our stay in Wengen. I initially booked our stay for a property in Lauterbrunnen and a maintenance issue forced the owner to cancel just a few weeks before our trip. I found Julie’s property she helped me book quickly. I was a little nervous to book a property with NO reviews, but seeing that Julie was a super host gave me the confidence to book anyway. The pictures very accurately show the property. The kitchen is small but mighty! We cooked breakfast daily and dinner 3 of 4 nights. I cook a LOT at home and had everything I needed to prepare meals ( equipment-wise). The apartment is very clean and easily reached from the train station. We had 4 adults, 5 suitcases, a couple of backpacks, and an almost-2-year-old and we managed to get us up the hill and up the steps to the apartment! Quick response to questions were very much appreciated. I would book again in a heartbeat.

High up views of the Jungfrau!
This unit was well kept & clean. The views of the Jungfrau were spectactular! We ate dinner on the balcony every day looking at the Junfrau and the Lauterbrunnen Valley. It had all the amenities including a fondu pot (found over the washing machine)! No where did the description tell you there were 50 - yes 50! - stairs to climb to get to this unit! The Swiss are in great shape for climbing etc. but for people coming from sea level this was a challenge. The first set of metal stairs looked like a fire escape but was really the start to the climb. Once inside we were still climbing! We only left the unit once a day & planned our outings for the climb. Everything else was really great in the unit - dishwasher, washing machine & dryer, armoir. It could use a few more places to hang clothes than a hall tree but we managed. Bathrooms were clean & spacious.
The property was clean and exactly as pictured, with beautiful views! It was the perfect place to stay to enjoy all the region had to offer but not feel like we were in a "touristy" area. I cannot say enough good things about Wengen Apartments and their wonderful staff. Their proactive communication before and during our stay made everything seamless, and they were always friendly, responsive, and eager to help with anything we needed. They even sent us a digital guidebook months prior to our stay with great recommendations. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to families or anyone visiting Wengen!
