Lovely house

Very well equipped, parking is one car only and a bit tight, but not an issue for us. Not a lot of footpaths near property of you have dogs, but garden is secure

The cottage is large and ideally located close to a large duck pond down the road. The log-burning fire was a definite highlight! One word of warning: the roll-top bath is very large. While it looks beautiful, the edge came well above my knee — and I’m 5'11 — which made getting in and out safely quite difficult for my elderly mother. Unfortunately, on our final night, we discovered a substantial leak behind the fridge, caused by a cracked sink pipe. We spent several hours working out where the water was coming from and cleaning it up, which also meant we couldn’t use the kitchen space as we had hoped the following morning.
