La Masseria Don Tommaso è una splendida antica casa in pietra situata in campagna, a 2 km da Specchia, etichettata come "uno dei borghi più belli d'Italia" . Don Tommaso sorge su un uliveto di 1 ettaro con piscina privata. La villa si trova a pochi km dalla costa rocciosa dell'Adriatico e a circa 15 km dalle spiagge di sabbia dello Ionio.
In meno di 45 minuti di auto è possibile raggiungere Lecce (sito Unesco), Otranto, Gallipoli e i tanti piccoli paesi dell'entroterra, ognuno con un castello o una chiesa da vedere. E' molto bello anche affittare una bicicletta e visitare la campagna: ci sono decine di chilometri di piccole strade dove le macchine non passano quasi mai. Se amate il mare, si affittano piccole barche a Castro Marina o a Santa Maria di Leuca. Tutto il Salento ha poi un'intensa attività culturale e di spettacoli serali. Infine, non mancano i ristoranti dove gustare le specialità salentine.
