Set in SW10, the apartment offers a quieter residential feel while staying well connected to the rest of London. This is a place with its own sense of style — thoughtfully put together, a little unexpected, and refreshingly different from the usual stay.

The open-plan living, kitchen and dining area is bright and comfortable, with a large corner sofa that’s perfect for switching off after a day out. An oak dining table seats six for easy shared meals, while the fully equipped kitchen is neatly tucked behind solid oak cabinetry, keeping the space calm and uncluttered.

🛏🛁 Bedrooms & Bathrooms
There are two bedrooms. The main bedroom features an oversized bed with a bathtub in the room, and the toilet is enclosed separately behind a door. The second bedroom has a comfortable bed that can be used as a double or split into two singles if needed. Off the hallway, there is an additional bathroom with a shower and WC, making the layout practical for families or groups.

In the 1960s, Chelsea`s Kings Road was the stomping ground for the hippest young things in town. Nowadays, the area is more conservative in its reputation - you`ll share the immaculate pavements with affluent business people from around the world and plenty of blow-dried ladies of leisure. It attracts this set for good reason - it`s very central and the period houses that line the streets are charming. Sloane Square is home to one of London`s best theatres for new writing (The Royal Court) and nearby is one of London`s best independent bookshops (John Sandoe). Oh and if you like high-end shopping then Sloane Street will be your Mecca!
For food & pubs you will be best making your way to the Old Kings Road where you are spoilt for choice. However on the door step you will also find fantastic coffee & lunch places.

SHOWER USAGE - To help with water flow here and prevent drain blockage, we kindly ask that guests turn off the water while not actively using it during their shower. This also supports water conservation.

The second bedroom can be arranged as 2 x singles or 1 x king (pushed together) please update the team to ensure the bed arrangement is how you require the set up.

UPON BOOKING: If you do not have any reviews we will need you to provide more details about yourself (ie. work credentials such as a LinkedIn profile or similar) and the purpose of your stay.

EARLY CHECK-IN: A guaranteed early check-in can be arranged subject to availability at an extra charge.

LATE CHECK OUT: On the day of departure, we kindly ask all guests to vacate the property by 11AM. A guaranteed late check-out can be arranged subject to availability at an extra charge.

LONGER STAYS: For bookings of 14 nights and longer, complimentary cleaning may be provided. Details to be confirmed after booking.

BABY COT - A baby travel cot (also known as a `pack and play`) and high chair are available upon request (for a surcharge), but we must have at least 3 days notice.

CHILDREN UNDER 5 - Please get in touch before booking if you have children under 5 years of age, as this apartment might not be suitable for your stay.

Any excessive mess that requires our cleaners to go beyond the standard check out clean (changing linen, preparing the property for the next guest and restocking of general house supplies etc.) will be charged to the guests. Please also note that we will charge a penalty fee of £500 if any of our house rules are broken.

This is a lovely apartment in a fabulous neighborhood. The apartment is clean and has an excellent layout. It has everything one needs in the kitchen to cook in the home. The outside terrace is private and is a perfect for outdoor dining. During our stay it was unusually warm in London and our hosts made sure that each bedroom as well as the living room had fans. Our hosts also provided a local guide to restaurants, grocery stores and things to do & see. We would stay here again should we return to London.

This flat is in a wonderful neighborhood with plenty of amenities. The flat isn’t especially sound proof but the neighborhood is quiet. The flat is nicely furnished and has access to a tranquil garden. The flat has one small shower, which is prone to flooding, as evidenced by a red letter warning in the flat that presumptively blames guests for any issues. In our case, we were unable to shower one morning because a fuse tripped (causing a draining issue).

Thank you for your feedback and for sharing your experience. I’m glad you enjoyed the furnishings, the tranquil garden, and the neighbourhood with its many amenities. I’d like to clarify a couple of points for future guests: the flat is in fact soundproofed on the top, bottom, and communal side walls, which means that when inside the flat you do not hear noise from neighbours. Thank you also for mentioning how the notice made you feel — I’ve since removed this, and I’ve made amendments to the saniflow/shower pipework so that it is no longer sensitive. The shower was never prone to flooding, though issues could arise if anything other than toilet paper was flushed. I appreciate the chance to improve, and I hope you enjoyed your time overall in this wonderful part of London. Best Wishes Van

My wife and I stayed at "A Chelsea Retreat" for 12 days in May, 2025. We had a very comfortable stay in this flat. The apartment was located in Chelsea, a safe and affluent neighborhood about a mile south of the Victoria and Albert museum. It was a very quiet apartment. with no street noise. Neither was there noise from tenants above or below us. The subway stops are farther from the apartment that one might think from comments and maps. We ended using Ubers for transportation, though each Uber trip to a major site in London cost around 25 each way. The kitchen worked fine. We ate in the apartment most nights. There are a few local markets near the apartment, but none of any size or offering. A "Super Tesco" is a worthwhile Uber ride 1 mile away for a full shop at the beginning of your trip.The communication with the management before and after went very well, with no issues.The reason I am not giving the apartment a full 5 stars has to do with the bathrooms. The MBR bathroom, located inside of the bedroom, consists of a very small toilet and sink. It is 26" by 52," not larger than an airline toilet. The hall bathroom has the only shower. That shower is 30" x38" and the door is hinged inwards, which makes getting in and out of the shower difficult. There are no hand holds in the shower and no ledges for soap or shampoo. This might be "quirky," but heads up. Nonetheless, strongly consider this apartment and London! We think you will enjoy both as much as we did.

Fantastic Flat in a Great Area

We just stayed 4 nights at the apartment, it was roomy and had a lot of charm. It is located in a very nice neighborhood that is central to all transportation. The owners communicated very well and we could not have been happier with our experience. As a bonus, the flat has a nice little garden and is well lit.

Would stay again!

We stayed for 4 nights during spring break and was very happy with everything. The location is great! You can walk to the underground in about 10/15 minutes and go anywhere you want. There are plenty of restaurants and grocery stores in either direction. We loved that it was more in a residential area. It was quiet, safe and very quaint. There is a cute little park about a block away. The flat itself is a great set up. Yes, that bathroom in the master bedroom is a little odd but it works. We were a family of 4 (2 teenagers) and it worked just fine. We loved having a washer and dryer so we could do laundry. In the back you have patio that is very cute. We had a little hiccup at the beginning of stay but Ann Louise and Van were great and got everything resolved. They both responded to everything quickly. Also, Ann Louise answered any questions I had before our arrival. We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely Flat, Charming Neighborhood

We four friends spent a short week in London mid September. Our Chelsea Home Away flat was jusr the perfect combination of location and amenities. We purchased a French press coffee maker nearby for our morning quick breakfasts. Our days were spent exploring the city and enjoying substantial pub lunches. Then we returned "home" via the tube for cocktails and snacks each evening. The walk from tube station was a short one. This delightful flat is cozy and inviting. We would book it again.

Very comfortable cute place

It was a very comfortable stay. Beds were very comfortable and nice clean sheets n towels. Had a few problems with the bathroom, toilet flush broken but they sent a lovely man who fixed the problem straight away. The shower also doesn't drain very well so can't have a long shower otherwise it overflows. But I guess that was English plumbing in these conversion appartments. Nice and quite street and has great restaurants just down the road. Would stay again.

Very nice apartment in a wonderful location

Apartment was as promised and depicted. Had a small issue with one of the toilets but the staff was quick to respond and could not have been more accommodating. It is in a great location with several nice restaurants very near. Would gladly stay there again!

Great flat; great location

Very easy rental and check in; no issues whatsoever. I stayed with a friend last week and it is a charming place. It is convenient to markets, restaurants, and underground. They were very responsive to inquiries we had prior to arrival. Highly recommend this place!

Great London Flat

The flat is in a lovely area and a 10 minute walk from the nearest tube station. It is close to restaurants and grocery stores. Only down side of the flat is the master bath does not have a shower and the toilet is quite small (with carpet!). We would definitely stay again!

I spent one month in London at this charming Chelsea flat. It was simply delightful. Nestled on a very private street yet walking distance to both the tube and bus stopes. Everything so very handy. And the flat itself was very quiet. Just down the road are a variety of lovely restaurants and cafes. The flat was filled with light and both the sitting room and master bedroom were quite spacious. It was exactly as described. And the closets were more than ample. The owner, Ann Louis could not have been more helpful. If anything was needed, she was always there to resolve and accommodate; could not ask for more. I would recommend this flat; it was beyond wonderful. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Great location in the center of London. Great space. The garden extends apartment. Very comfortable for our family of 4. Half a mile walk to the Earls Court tube station and we could get everywhere from there. The garage was very helpful ,as parking spaces are a premium. There was construction(you are in the middle of London in the summer) noise around 9 am ,but that actually worked to get us out of bed. Heads up there was no Air Conditioning,but we got along by buying a little fan. Would definitely rent this apartment again. Thank you

Perfect bolt hole in London

Lovely apartment in fab location . All home comforts catered for in great style. Go to Brinkleys around the corner for great food in a fantastic atmosphere

Excellent. Perfect in every way

The location of this apartment could not have been better. It is in a very quiet street in a very upmarket neighbourhood in the Chelsea/Fulham area of London. It has a number of very good restaurants, delis and small supermarkets in the vicinity. It is close to public transport, (Earl's Court, Gloucester Road and South Kensington underground stations) and is on the main bus routes to South Kensington, Knightsbridge and the King's Road. It was a joy to stay in the apartment. It was very quiet, private and it did not feel like we were in a big City. The rooms are enormous, have plenty of light and there is a small secluded garden. There is also the added bonus of a garage, which is unusual in London. Furthermore the apartment was decorated with immaculate taste. Anne Louise has a great eye for detail, with thought given to every little convenience. Anne Louise is a very gracious and thoughtful hostess/landlady, for whom nothing was too much trouble. We would thoroughly recommend this apartment to anyone wishing to have a memorable stay in London. Rima & Habib

Wonderful London !!

What a cozy home !! Anne Luoise and Van were really helpful for our needs,everithing was perfect the details are incredible and luxurious,wonderful location and excellent restaurants neard by.We stayed 4 days with our three children and if it will be possible we would like to come back.Thank you !! Perfection!

5 stars for London, Ann Louise and this lovely flat! The flat was exactly as described and located in a beautiful, safe, and quiet neighborhood. It was a 10 minute walk or less to the nearest line. Ann Louise was available the entire time and sent help immediately when we encountered a problem with the toilet handle. My husband and I stayed here with our 3 children.
