Separate rooms

Property was clean, lounge /dining combined. Separate bedroom, galley kitchen. Paula, when we asked, provided us with a plug for the kitchen sink to assist dish washing, and, washing powder for the washing machine. As well we reimbursed her her parking costs. We were travelling from overseas so appreciated this. Soap, shampoo/conditioner was provided as well as starter tea/coffee, similar to other accommodation we have rented. The outside area/homes appear somewhat neglected, weeds etc. Parking is a challenge if you can achieve a space.

Worst experience

After driving around for an hour we are unable to find anywhere to park our vehicle, after the owner indicated parking was difficult but was available around the area. We are to elderly tourists and we were left with no alternative other than to find other accommodation. This owner needs to clearly state that is absolutely no parking rather than indicating there may be

This property is in quite a run down area and the first impression was not good - entrance area quite scruffy with a very difficult step to negotiate - the area is noisy - we found the flat to be 'tired' and basic. The bed was extremely uncomfortable with the thinnest of mattresses. This property was not a good choice for us having stayed in far superior air B&B properties. Beware the parking situation - I had to ring the owner who kindly put me on her permit as it was impossible to park.
