The cabin has one of the most picturesque views I have ever enjoyed. Directly over the White River with an occasional train on the other side, it is calming and beautiful. Th cabin has plenty of space and is very well stocked for whatever you may want to cook. We went to mostly hike and there are literally hundreds of available trails that show off the beauty of Arkansas. The only caveats I would mention is to stay OFF of highway 73/74 towards Calico Rock or you go at least 13 miles on gravel and to make sure to get groceries before you arrive. Wonderful place!

My husband and I were looking for something private and secluded… this was just the place! We were celebrating our 29th wedding anniversary. We were excited to stay here, celebrate the anniversary and trout fish.Check in was very simple and directions easy to follow. Everyone said buy your groceries before hand… we bought ours about an hour and a half before we got there and I was so thankful we did. Didn’t see any grocery store to buy from 35 or 45 minutes before we got there! House is Stocked with everything… but really no room for what you bring. The bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen were clean….Tried contacting the owners while there several times, but I didn’t have any service and the calls didn’t go through! I even have my phone set up for WiFi calling. But, my husband was able to use his… so I don’t know! The place is a work in progress and I’d love to go back sometime and see all the changes, There was some disappointment in that the place was really dusty… I clean homes for a living and I can’t sit and look at inches of it. I cleaned while there, and my husband and I cleaned the windows that face the river. Now that’s a beautiful view and we wanted to see clearly. All in all we had a good time, but the fishing was terrible! Trouble in the hatcheries …or something.

We really enjoyed our stay and some people have commented on the internet being a little slow in the reviews I’m not sure why because it worked great for us while we were there

Lovely home!

We had such an incredible time visiting Arkansas and staying at this home. The views were beautiful, and there was a boat ramp right down the road that we could access for fishing and to launch the boat. The hot tub was a big bonus for when it rained. Would definitely stay again! The hosts were also very communicative and wanted to make sure we were enjoying ourselves (which we definitely did).

Perfect!

We have stayed at numerous homes on the River but this home was our all time favorite! The location is secluded but easy to get to. The few miles of rock road is well maintained. There is very little boat traffic on the River and we enjoyed sitting on the dock listening and watching Mother Nature. I would highly recommend staying here for a great relaxing vacation.
